Easy to follow directions and easy, but tedious to assemble. The first section (of 2) took about 4 hours and second one took about two hours. Easy to put into lake and I look forward to taking it out without having to get into cold water this fall. I bought the opinion all bumpers and they line up perfectly with my pontoon.

Great doc, takes long time to assemble small pieces and there were a few little things missing screw hardware. Instructions were a little funky between installing the floats to the bottom and access to bolts I think they got it messed up pretty bad. I just use self tapping screws to hold the floats in a lot better than what they were trying to have you do if they had you do it in the right step. I'm a seasoned handyman I did it much better and faster but you're going to need some time to assemble. Do it near bank and slide on carpet or cardboard. Unfortunately cheaped out the floats and didn't fill them with polyurethane but you can unscrew them and fill them yourself if you want to. Get cans of expanding foam HD.

Assembly directions stink. Put the floats on before you install the resin deck. After assembled it’s a nice dock.

I bought two 4x10 floating dock sections with resin decks. The dock boxes came with exactly the number of parts needed, including the heavy duty galvanized hinges for the ends or sides. It is necessary to read the instructions step by step, very carefully, to get the bolts installed correctly. I happen to have a set of light weight, high torque impact drill - drivers. The garage floor was a good place to put it together, moved it outside onto saw horses on the garage apron to install the deck an floats. The tractor with its front end loader moved the assembled dock into place easily. The two dock sections came on one big wood pallet at 255 pounds on an 18 wheeler. I used my tractor with the front end loader to pick it up and to get the pallet off the truck.

This is a quality product, it takes a while to assemble, but the cost savings of doing it yourself and the maintenance free non-wood design make it worthwhile! Easy to haul in the back of a truck unassembled, good do it yourself dock!

It was a lot of work assembling these units, (bought 2). Took a day and a half, but well worth it. This dock is well made and floats in very little water. I am thinking of leaving it in for the winter.

Aside from having to make some adjustments and modifications for my job, no complaints. Very well made. Assembly instructions not great.

I bought the package, rather then figure out individual parts. Hinges are included in the package are as 2 one piece pole holders. HD also shipped a pole end auger and one multi piece pole holder/guide. Some brackets in the package were mis-drilled so I had to wait for replacements, putting my job back a week. Playskool's customer service was excellent, it is unfortunate I had to contact them. The floats do not seem to be foam filled.
