Worked great at first. Then I kept having to re-adjust the bulbs because they'd go out. Bought new bulbs ended up having to tape most of them in and it would still fail. Then 8 months in two of the tube sockets melted and no bulb would function in it. It was the last straw got sick of dealing with it.

This is a very well built light and I am happy with my decision to buy it.

This light set gives you the flexibility of using all eight bulbs or just four if you are lighting less seedlings. I bought two for my greenhouse, and each will light four flats.

I bought the 4 bulb model. The hanging cables do not work. The lamp is way to heavy and pulls the crimp right off the cables. Don't trust the cables. I used stranded picture hanging wire in a loop thru same holes tied in a knot. After 4 months, one of the sockets went bad. i thought it was the bulb but no. it looks like the Ballast was bad. They want me to pay for shipping back to GA without an RMA #. I asked for a piece part replacement so I wouldn't go w/o a light for my orchids for months and they stopped responding to me after that second email. The mfg is Viagrow. I wouldn't use their products if this is the quality.

Well made and easy to install. Double switch ables the use of half or all eight bulbs.Low power usage for the amount of light.

Light fixture works fine. No problem with installation. One of the 8 bulbs did not work. Unfortunately a single bulb cannot be replaced, but I would have to send the whole fixture back for replacement. What a waste! Thankfully the service person offered to send me a $10 gift card. I ordered a replacement fluorescent bulb plus an extra spare online and everything is good now. Thank you Home Depot!

This T-5 light arivede in a plain brown box (which I liked) great packaging and has two switches on the fixture. Turn four of the bulbs on w/one switch or turn them both on for all eight bulbs to shine and do they shine! my plants are really growing like crazy under this light, I'm quite impressed.
