I really was looking forward to the size of the safe it was delivered slightly damaged but has worked well until now. I tried to access it as I keep my medications in there put of reach of small children as well as valuables. The handle snapped off in my hand. I tried the skeleton key to maybe try to manually open it and it won't even turn. Super disappointing. Hopefully will hear back from sentry for a trick if not I now have to call a locksmith so I can access my daily medications. Teach me next time to keep them safe and out of reach I guess.

Safe is roomy with three shelves plus the floor for plenty of storage. Very confident that safe will hold off anyone trying to break it open based on its weight and sturdiness. Really like how the door is secured all the way around when closed and locked. Problem was the electronic lock fails to unlock safe after installing new batteries and entering the correct code. Had to use the key to unlock safe.. Notified customer service and they are working with me to resolve this issue. I give them 5+ stars for their kind and prompt response to my problem. Unit arrived with most of the packaging torn or missing along with several scratches on the front (door). The electronic keypad was slightly damaged and a new one was sent out immediately. Unfortunate situation for me however, again, customer service is helping.

We needed a safe that was fireproof, waterproof and easy to access This is our safe. Although the safe did arrive a bit dinged up.

My school administration purchased the safe so that we could be in compliance with regulations for test storage. But I cannot lock the safe. The bolts slide easily into place when the door is open (which is great, so the system works)

I bought this safe according to the reviews, I am very disappointed about the quality, this is a metallic box with drywall on the bottom, I fix the bolts on the floor and the safe still moving from sheet meatal witch is very thin . It's look solid but is very poor quality you can see pictures from other costumer how was cut very easy .The safe is bolted to the limit and I am able to lift it up about half inch .

This safe looks great. Heavy & feels really sturdy. Perfect size for my needs. I love the solid sound it makes shutting it. Plus I just like looking at it.

I’ve owned this safe for 27 months and everything was fine until the handle became loose. I was fortunate enough to open the safe with the skeleton key but could not repair the handle as the threads are stripped. The handle turns in a complete circle and has pulled away from the door. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. What a shame because this was the perfect size. I even had a custom opening made in a professional closet organizer. I am so disappointed as I paid a lot of money for this safe.

So far this safe has exceeded my expectations! Great size and fit for the space I needed it in. Solid unit, easy to set up and use and a great amount of storage for the size! Well done and well built!

When I first ordered the safe, based on all of the reviews I thought I was going to love it. However, since the beginning I was already having issues with it. When it got delivered to my parents house (I bought this for my parents), the shipping company charged us an extra fee that was not included/discussed beforehand until the bill arrived months later. A little bit over a year after the order, right as the warranty ran out, we had a problem with the handle and opening the safe. When we tried to fix this problem (without any additional tools), the handle snapped off. I contacted SentrySafe about it, and there was nothing that could be done. According to them, we would have to contact a lock smith (which we would have to pay a fee for) to open up the safe. This was shocking to me because this was a $700 safe and it should not have fallen apart so easily in barely a year. Even when it did, there should have been more support for it considering the amount of money people spend on it. Due to the lack of support, we ended up cutting a whole in the bottom of the safe because that was the area that was the thinnest to access the documents we needed at the moment. Now we are down $700 and a safe. Photos attached...

I've had great luck with SentrySafes so the product itself is just fine. The interior space is right at 4.68, so I'll let them round up to 4.7. HOWEVER, comma, the exterior dimensions ARE NOT as advertised. :( The safe is only Sixteen inches wide (16") NOT 19" as advertised. The safe is only Twenty and a half inches (20.5") deep, and NOT 21.7. I might not argue much about an inch on the depth. It's not much, but an inch is an inch. However, I will express my extreme disappointment with the safe being short 3 inches across. I REALLY needed those 3 inches. If I had known the safe was going to be so much smaller than advertised I would have opted for a different model (perhaps a different brand). I'm going to mark the recommend box as a YES. But, that comes with a caveat emptor that the next person who buys this safe needs to understand that the external size is NOT as advertised.

PRO-Easy to install and operate. Heavy steel wall construction. CON-The stated design requirement that the door seal only cover the lower 70% of the door contact area is a real concern

Very good safe, Easy to open and close. Very easy to bolt to the floor. I has no problems with the safe. Packed very nice no scratches or dents very straight forward on setting up. I would buy it again.

This a very good safe. Well made and very solid with plenty of room inside for the items that I want to protect. I hope I never find out if the fire and/or waterproof features actually work as claimed. The only issue that I have, is that the bottom of the safe is not level. It wobbles (btw, my floor is level). I used plastic shims to level the safe - it worked for me. If you are looking for a well made large safe from a reputable company and willing to pay the price, I recommend this safe.

Safe appears to be well-built with digital combination lock. Was set in place by delivery staff. Safe has heft to it and has bolt-down hardware. Very ample size for our needs.

Safe arrived in Boise, resided in a third party warehouse awaiting shipping for the next two weeks. Tracking only showed destination up to point of transfer to local shipper for delivery. Inquiries as to when final home delivery would take place resulted in only that package was delivered to Boise local shippers and their timetable would govern. Product finally delivered on 11/28 while tracking maintained a delivery date of 11/14. Package arrived with deep scratches on door face coating. Upon opening the vault door there was an extremely pungent unpleasant odor presumably from the extremely low quality fabric on the walls and shelves of safe interior. In general, interior construction is extremely poor and cheap. Used a Lysol disinfectant and an odor neutralizer to hasten the airing out process. My overall rating would be no more than 2 stars. I do not recommend this product unless you decide to redo interior a bit more professionally then is installed.

Great safe once you figure out how to open it. Should come with better instruction like STOP insert batteries first

So far the safe looks O K. Why would you ask? I have not had time to see if it was a good buy for my family.

Very satisfied with the safe it is certainly well manufactured strong and secure. Delivered on time as quoted. Plenty of room for all valuables and will give us the security and peace of mind with all the changes going on in this world.

This safe is the perfect size. Easy to set up. The only issue was the water proof gasket is so thick the door could not open initially. Customer service was awesome and worked through the issue with me. Once i got the door open i removed. the gasket. I will t replace it with a thinner one of my own. Overall i am extremely happy with this safe

Very Nice!!! We have bolted it to the floor, like the combination and the ability to use a key!! My only problem, is I should have ordered a larger one!! HAHA!!

Right now I do not have a positive outlook as far as my new Sentry Safe is concerned. The safe came with no factory passcode. I inadvertently locked the skeleton key in the safe. The user passcode works on an intermittent basis (sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't) I have not been able to access the inside of this safe for a few days now. I have tried several times to open it with no good results.
