I absolutely love the look of this drain cover. The style, color, sturdiness, shape, etc. can’t say enough about it. Note: there are prongs used to slip into the pvc drain pipe. This is to snap in, to hold the drain in place. Make sure you measure that before ordering. Whoever invented this is a genius! So convenient to pop out when you want to clean the drain.

This is a quality product, It is made to withstand the weight of a person in a shower, which the original plastic version could not. It is quite attractive and meets all of the functionality that a drain must withstand. Fit and finish is very good and the ease of installation is very simple. Pop the old one out and pop this metal one in.

Thought I was getting an original replacement. It's not. First, it is much thinner and lighter weight than the original. Second, the prongs seem to be a tad shorter so it does not seat and ”grab” the drain as it should...resulting in a loose fit...a bit disconcerting. Will use some silicone.
