Bought the $40 and returned it. This started working the moment it hit the sunlight. Remember, it's not a/c but it will at least keep my shed from being a kiln.

We had it installed on a shed to keep it cool and it works great keeps it nice and cool.

Works as advertised and does that very well. Well packaged in box. Instructions clear and easy to follow!

Put this in my 9' x 4' tool shed a couple weeks ago. Seems to work very well & keeps the temp down.

Great product so far. Perfect for my 10x20 Shed to vent out some hot air. In the summer (in Las Vegas) I temps inside my shed would get to 140+ degrees F. We'll see this summer, but so far it feels much cooler in there. Be aware of how large this is, it's not really going to cool your whole attic (maybe if you buy like 4 of them), But it works great for my 200 sq ft shed!

The metal assembly is nice but the solar panels is a joke it’s barely powers the tiny little fan that is in it

Bought two, but 1 of 2 stopped working after a few months. I did some troubleshooting and it turns out the solar panel was defective. It would stop working when it got hot. The company did not honor the five year warranty. They only sent a new motor (which I didn't need), after I had extensively explained that it was the panel that wasn't working correctly.

Easy to install does a great job cooling the attic and a great price

Product was defective right out of the box. Fan would not turn under its own power. Unable to use product. Had to return. Left hole in roof with makeshift cover. Won’t be ordering from this company again.

not as good as i had hoped, mounted 2 on the sides of my chicken house and only runs in direct, full sun. when less than full sun the motor wines and can be heard all over the farm. would probally work good on the rooftop

Quality, quiet, sized for regular small hole openings for easy diy roof swaps. Did it myself with long thin crow bar, tube of Henry's roof caulk, hammer and nails. This device is essential for mitigating hot air pressure imbalance, now air moves again. 2 for 1200 agla, 1 for 400 sf grg. Worked!

Nice unit, does the job

I purchased this small solar fan to cool roof in my garage. The unit is very lightweight so there is no problem to install it. I removed existing vent and put solar on same spot. Even used same nails. As for performance of the unit: well under 80 F is doing job well, at 90 F I cannot see the effect probably to small capacity for the temperature and volume of air it needs to move. It's been only 10 days after I installed it.

I purchased this product to vent a chicken coup which is basically an 8'X12' shed. Installation was easy although a cut template would have been nice. Adequate flow for this application.

I had added this during a reroof of our doublewide mobile home with the Fabral metal roofing to help pull the heat out of the attic crawl space. The solar fan really pulls the hot air out of the attic space when the sun is full out. But add any clouds at all and it simply stops. I feel it would be a better buy had they added more solar cells for it to operate when the weather is "fair" or "partly cloudy. The temps can still be high during these periods. But otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

This is a replacement for one of the two I bought two years ago. So they don't last as long as I had hoped, but do help with pulling the air thru the loafing shed to help eliminate any odors

Did not need the base. Would have been better if the base was detachable. Performed some sheet metal work to get it adaptable.

Works very well to help cool down attic. I like that they shut down and close up when they are off.

good price, easy install, working as expected, I hear the fan when I enter and dont know if that slight noise is common.

I used this in a 200 sqft shed. It is small and yet delivers plenty of air movement to keep the shed down in temperature.

This unit needs to be in direct sunlight to Function. And will not work in slightly shaded areas. The rest of this suit is excellent.

This only works when the sun is directly over the solar panel. My old one was a Honeywell and it worked all the time and it weighs about 15lbs more than this one. I have ordered a new Honeywell. I’ll be throwing this one out.

Worst product ever bought! Should be a zero not a one. Any shadow they quit. Has to be unclouded sunlight only. Fix the solar supply they would work ok. DONT BUY

Bought to circulate air in our atrium and it works perfectly. No noise, no power usage, and no haul to install.

so far works fine and keeps my shed cooler.

Simple to input the attic vents in then much better than before as A/C ducts were replaced as now the electric bill is less than worst before in nine years.
