I bought this door in oct 2018 and the first cold day last night jan 2019 just 3 months and the plastic hinges snapped and it fell to the ground I almost fell with it....now home depot says I may not get my money back. That will end my shopping at home depot!

Just don’t waste your time ordering this door. I was skeptical about ordering after reading some of the reviews but thought “that probably won’t happen to me”. Boy was I wrong. What the heck is wrong with HD? Do the people working there not care about how they treat products?? I opened the box when I got home and GUESS WHAT. The door was broken. So yes, a trip back to the HD. At this point I’m pretty convinced that it wouldn’t have mattered if the door had shipped to my home versus shipping to the store. I think in today’s world, people just don’t give a darn. Oh, and the description said no hardware was included with the door. But when I opened the box, guess what...hardware was included. Hmmm makes me wonder if I even got the right door. HD had another door similar to this one but was less money and it did come with the hardware. So at this point I’m scratching my head in wonder.

The door should come with the installation hardware as part of the sale. I had to go online to find the hardware to install the door.

It is a beautiful screen from afar, but up close it is not as nice. Easy to install and looks great. Wish the install kit were to come with it.

one of the doors was badly damaged, I returned it and found out the same style is now out of stock. Very Disapointed

Very poorly and cheaply made for the price

Love the appearance of this door. Had a wood one at my old house and liked it a lot better than the cheap plastic one now. The knob door handle broke off quite quickly, so I glued it back on twice and now it is totally broken and gone. The hinges have broke probably 3 times. Broken one now and have to order a new set again. Frustrating.

Absolute trash. If you want something that looks cute from the road, but is so low quality that it has quite literally fallen apart in transit, buy this one!!! The joints that are melted together look like a toddler glazed them with a butter knife and boxing gloves. The lower panels rattle with every close, they are so loose. Move on, people! You don’t want this one!

It's just the door itself. There's no hardware or putting it in nothing way too expensive. And home depot is horrible about it.

This is a beautiful, well-made door. Installation was so easy. The only thing I can say negatively about this is that for the price I'm not sure why new hinges could not be included. We used our old hinges (which worked out fine) but that would really be a plus in this purchase.

Decorative pieces on top section and panels on the bottom are poorly fitting and should be glued for stability.

If you have a cat or dog, an attractive retractable screen will be out of the question because they can escape underneath. As an alternative, you're looking at a screen door like this or a heavy-duty storm door, which is a different calibre product. As far as screen doors go, this is fine. Not great, not terrible, but fine. It is literally a rectangular chunk of vinyl with decorative holes cut in it. No door-like features, such as a latching handle. Craftsmanship of the door itself seems mediocre so there are little gaps between the decorative pieces in the 4 corners, or the vertical "beam" piece in the bottom half. The screen had rips around the edges, but the store gave us $50 off to over-compensate for the $20 screen repair kit we also had to buy. The door came with basic hardware that does NOT include a bolt-style latch. It was a kit with 2 handles (C-shape, screw in at top & bottom), 3 plastic spring-loaded hinges that aren't strong enough to pull the door 100% tight, at least in our installation, and a tiny hook & eye latch to hold it shut. The hook method, of course, only works from indoors, which is a problem, unlike a typical door latch. We will be buying an aftermarket pneumatic door closer of some sort. I can't comment on shipping since we bought it in-store. I can't comment on the process of cutting the door to fit, since ours luckily fit as-is. Ultimately, I WOULD recommend this door. It's nothing to brag about, but it looks nice if you're not standing immediately in front of it to see the flaws, and installation and the included hardware were OK for the cost. Hopefully this review helps someone!

Purchased to enhance my front door. Looks lovely, but poorly made. Warped and not really square. Good thing the front door is not used very much

I ordered this door online and had it shipped to the Home Depot in a neighboring city as I do not have a store near me. Because the reviews for it were so bad, I checked it before I left the store. There were several flaws: black scuff marks that would not rub off, hardened running glue in the top corners where it was put together, and the pieces at the bottom we’re cut too short and did not fit together well. I left this door and reordered another. I drove back again to the neighboring city to pick up the reordered door. It had flaws too but not quite as bad as the first one. I ended up taking this door as I was in a bind with time as my contractor needed the door to complete the job. It’s a pretty door but don’t be surprised if you have to reorder several times before you get one that’s acceptable. I couldn’t find any HD around me that stocked this door.

I would have returned it if I haven’t cut it, the door looks pretty but well made and the company (screentight.com) don’t stand behind their products

I overlooked that it was vinyl when viewing online, and thought that it was wood. I was disappointed when I went to pick it up as the vinyl is pretty flimsy, which gives a lot of play in the top and bottom of the door even when latched. However, overall it looks great and is a decent price compared to most options. The included hardware is cheap (which I was expecting according to other reviews) so I picked up other hinges and a latch at the same time.
