The bottom frame completely rotted after having the door under a covered porch for 5 years. After contacting Grisham they would not honor the lifetime warranty on this product. Completely unacceptable and very disappointed as I really did love this door. They expect me to rebuy the product.

The door looks great! Like option of using glass or 1 screen for a cross breeze during warmer days. But BEWARE of overmount versus inside mount because it will affect how & where you measure to know how much to cut off on the "Z" bar before starting.

I LOVE this heavy door!!! I had it on My old house.. and bought it again for my New home...IT MAKES A STATEMENT!!!

Very sturdy door, awesome look. Great front door looks expensive and easy to install. Makes my porch look more put together with a touch of elegance. We made a good choice.

My online purchase was unfortunately bad. I will not be ordering anything online, and probably anything from the store. The door is made poorly. The door does not fit, and is just bent in several areas. Will not buy again, was not satisfied by delivery time nor product quality. Take it, this was a specialty item, so a longer delivery is to be expected.

I've been wanting to replace our front screen door for years now and this Grisham Security door was the perfect replacement. It's sturdy, easy to install and absolutely gorgeous! I purchased black Schlage Deadbolts and black lever handles and it works and looks great! I LOVE this door. I'll replace our back screen door next!

The door is beautiful. Needed a few tweeks. Fortunately for me this was not a do it yourself project. A couple spots were bent. I guess because the door was so heavy.

I absolutely love the ornate look of the (security storm/screen) door, it allows me to now view my front garden, brings light into my living room and makes me happy. It does not look like your average security door, but it looks like it should be on an Italian or Spanish villa. Yes, it costs a tiny bit more than those ugly security doors, but what you get in return is so much more. One thing the description does not detail out is that it comes with 2 glass panels and 1 screen which was a nice surprise. The only thing that I was disappointed in, was that the shipping of the product caused it to be damaged in many areas - so much so that I cannot lock one of the locks. The (handyman) installer (who I got the name from Home Depot), had to straighten the frame in multiple places to get it to be flush with the door and one of the frame's corner was crushed. He could not lock one of the locks, no matter if he switched them. After almost 5 hours they took to install this door, I felt sorry for them so I told them to just forget it and leave it (as they could not figure it out). So now I have a door that does not lock completely. This is my only disappointment and would have to pay an actual door company to come and fix it - however, I've already spent so much on the installation already, I am not going to do this for a while. :( What I recommend, is that if the frame is damaged from shipping, RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY. Do not try and straighten it out. This is why I gave it an overall rating of 4 stars as it was either not sturdy enough to withstand shipping, it was not packed correctly or the shippers were in error.

The Grisham security door is beautiful. It is high quality, and very heavy duty feeling. Everyone compliments it when they come to visit.

This door is totally beautiful, stunning, lots of comments. Yes I would recommend like a previous customer, do purchase the double dead bolt lock, so that both sides of door will have a key to open for extra security do to the fact that someone can break the screen or glass and easily reach their hand into open door. Home Depot fixed my locks so that one key will fit both locks. I love having the screen in the door when I am home to get the fresh air. The door opens and closes quietly, a strong and heavy well assembled door. Beautiful design.

It was super easy to install since it's already pre-hung. I even had to flip the doors sides and that was easy too! Took me under an hour to install. First time installing a security door or any door. I love the way it looks. I'm glad I got it.

Ok....I love this door. Quality is great, looks are stunning. My problem comes with the security of the door when you have the screen insert rather than the heavy glass so you can have a cross breeze. I got a lockset that is keyed on the outside but can be locked/unlocked from the inside without a key. The problem is that if the screen section is installed it would not be difficult for someone to quickly cut the screen and reach in to simply unlock the door. This problem is solved by either leaving the glass panels in all the time or changing to a lockset that is keyed on both sides which removes a convenience factor. The way the removable glass/screen panels worked wasn't exactly clear and I am a little disappointed in what I view as a significant security flaw in an otherwise fantastic and high quality door. I would be curious to see what other reviewers think of this as I haven't seen it mentioned. Quickly swapping the glass/screen panels can get annoying because the glass is so heavy and you need to store the additional panel close by and will likely need a screwdriver handy to retighten the panel clips as they easily come loose.

Door looks great, got many compliments from surrounding neighbors. I would buy it again.

Love the door and everything about it except it’s starting to show rust dust after three weeks.

The door is well built and strong. Looks really good and expensive. It comes with 3 removable glass panels (2 large, 1 small) and 1 screen. The screen can be placed instead of one of the big glass panels. This is a great feature as you can have it with Glass to allow light without loosing you AC or heating. Or replace the glass with screen to allow fresh air as needed. The only criticism is for the instructions. Installing it is easy enough that common sense is all you need. I’m really pleased I bought this door.

The door is beautiful. The instructions are just about useless, the videos offered are a little better. My big complaint is that the closer provides with this door is junk. It is a screw-adjusted pneumatic closer and it WILL NOT hold! It has to be readjusted every other time you use the door. I had to spend another $50 for a heavier duty twist-to-adjust type. Frustrating!
