Pro: Primary use-case is to speed up construction. For that purpose, it was fine. Con: The dimensions are not exact; that 36x36" is actually 35.5x35.5. It's also not perfectly symmetrical, with one ledge narrower than the other making tiling slightly less attractive.

Dimensions Not As Advertised
The dimensions are not true. Plain and simple, even with the tile on it, it only measures 35.5. For the price, this was a big surprise and worse yet, I had a glass enclosure that because of the dimension inaccuracy, doesn't fit as intended on the curb. I now have to order a custom piece of tempered glass to make the unit work. I guess that's on me! Consider yourself warned.

Biggest waste of money ever!!!!!!
Bought this pan because I was nervous to build my own and did not want issues. Ha! I think I got more issues with this purchase. First, the pan did not stick to the mortar. Instructions state to place the pan on a bed of Portland cement/sand mix. With no access under the sub floor, you have only one shot! I could lift the entire pan off the floor and there was serious flex…BIG PROBLEM! I could not rip it out and try again because the garbage would break and there goes $750 out the window. I determined that I would try construction adhesive to bond the pan to the floor and tested it on the material. It worked… I picked the pan up as much as possible and squirted the adhesive as far back as I could until it was oozing out. I gave it several weeks to dry and had success. The next issue was with the flashing. It is equivalent to foil and is worthless. It does not secure the pan to the wall like it should. An expensive waste of money! Finally, the epoxy…You have to use the epoxy that they provide and it is difficult! There is a short pot life so you better have all tiles ready! I had read this from other complaints and post on the product. The problem for me was that they do not send enough to even cover the product. I was short and could not finish the threshhold. The epoxy was so scare that I had to spread it so thin I thought the tile would not hold. I guess we will see in time. Buy this product if you like headaches and wasting your time!

Hire a tile guy.
For the price of this product, I hired a professional tile installer to put in a pan liner and drain assembly, mud it and tile it. Actually it was cheaper and I didn't have to do anything but pick up the phone. And it came out much better than I could have done myself.

    Product is junk
Purchased this shower pan assuming that the high price translated to a quality product. Could not have been more wrong. After installing i had it professionaly tiled and the pan must have flexed because a low spot began to appear. So the water would not drain and just settled against the back wall. Since i had the tile done and a custom glass shower surround built around it i am Thousands of $$$$ invested it to my shower and it does not drain. My 2 options were to either rip it all back out or try tiling over it. I had the pan retiled and the low spot is back. Worst investment i ever made, wish i would have did it the old fashion way and poured a cement pan. I more than likely will end up having to take the shower surround down and pull the pan out and have a new pan poured. Lesson learned. Do youself a favor and stay away from this product

    REDI BASE INSTALLATION
The product seems to be great but the installation directions are lacking, and the installation video still dosn't answer many questions ie: what size hole to cut for the plumbing, what type of cement to use, sand mix or thin set mortar?. how to connect their PVC drain to ABS pipe,(we use mainly ABS in canada) found out it is legal here if you use the proper glue.

      Great Unit
I had some doubts but they quickly disappeared after it arrived. It's a great solution that eliminates what could eventually be a difficult and expensive problem.
