Great door sweep. It is a tough monkey to cut. It has steel wire in it and it fits so tight and doesn't even let light in. Fit it to a door that leads to the garage. Easy to install on the bottom of the door. I used my metal cutting blade on my oscillating cutter and it took its time cutting the rubber and I didn't understand why till I looked at the cut edge after I was finished. Steel cables running all through the rubber of the sweep. Makes it super strong and not flimsy like some sweeps. After installation I went into the room and looked under the door to see light, well there wasn't any to be seen. It fit that tight. I felt for colder air coming from under the door and there wasn't any. I am impressed. This is a great product. I don't think a mouse could chew through this.

I purchased a security door from Home Depot, but when I tried to install it myself, I saw it wasn't going to fit. So I returned it (not a problem with Home Depot purchases) and then scheduled a professional to come out and do a door measure. It was 1/2" off from the standard, so Home Depot built a custom size door for me and installed it. There is a small gap at the bottom (which is standard) so the door sweep was just what I needed. It seals right up against the bottom jam and provides for both an air seal and keeps spiders, bugs and other critters from getting inside the house. I enjoy being able to leave the front door open to allow the breeze to bring in fresh air. And when I'm in the back yard or back of the house, I don't have to worry about anybody being able to walk in the house. It took me about 30 minutes to attach it to the door, following the instructions and using the included hardware. Drilling is necessary. Now with the bug sweep in place, my cat can wait all day for a lizard to come in. But sorry, Bear, you'll have to do your lizard hunting out back because my new Residential 36 in. Aluminum Pest Control Door Sweep keeps out lizards and even small bugs and spiders from coming in. It's a great product!

This is a well made door sweep with stiff rubber sweep on the bottom. Very easy to install and closed the gap I had between the bottom of the door and step. The sweep is made of strong rubber with metal inside which will make it impossible for a rodent to penetrate through and get inside. I would definitely get this door sweep.

This is my second purchase. It is easy to install and nothing has chewed on it. It has a thick rubber and has metal mesh throughout. It also has additional stainless steel mesh inside. If you need to cut it to size make sure to use the provided clips that close the sides.

Easy to install. The aluminum frame is easily customizable for different door sizes. The rubber is really strong, but moves well when opening, sealing back snugly when closed. Fits really well and haven't seen any evidence of mice inside (chewed through the previous plastic door bottom - also replaced) since I installed it. Would highly recommend.

This is a fine concept - woven steel thread throughout the rubber blade and clips on the end where rats like to enter.My bottom door height was too high for the blade to touch bottom, so I got some aluminum material and extended the height of the blade where it attaches to the door.Worked out well.

Seems to work great. I installed this 2 months and no rodent evidence in garage. Difficult to trim to size without proper equipment (but that is good thing considering what it is)

Find that these sweeps only work on doors that open out!!!!! Plan to return to store. Quality and features appear great.

This product has been amazing, since we installed it on 2 patio closet doors the critters have decided to move out and not come back. Great product works as advertised.

I just had these installed on two doors a week ago. So far so good. It’s not quite cold enough yet for me to tell how well it blocks cold air, but I’m positive it will since there is no light under the door now. So, I’m happy with just that. It foot my door perfectly, it didn’t need to be trimmed.

We returned it because we ended up getting rid of the mice. The product was good though.

This item was perfect for what we needed. We had to trim it down for our door, but not an issue. I would definitely recommend.

Used for the door between house and garage, I had to cut it to size (no problem). It looks somewhat industrial, and that might deter residential customers, but it works.

I bought this for my outdoor kitchen door to keep mice out. The product is expensive but very well made. It will be difficult for the mice to chew out the rubber. I did not have to trim the length and installation was easy.

The Xcluder door sweep is probably the highest quality on the market. However, it does require a bit of work. It comes in only standard sizes, so there is a chance you will need to cut it to size (you'll need a hacksaw and strong shears). Also, the holes are not pre-drilled (which would make a world of difference), so you'll need a fairly powerful drill and the correct size drill bits to get through the steel. I have a cordless drill and one overnight charge was not enough power to drill 5-6 holes (it comes with 6 screws, though you may only need to use 5 if you've cut it to size). Honestly, drilling the holes was the longest part of installation. Also, it says to mount on the outside of the door, but it works either way. I was replacing an older interior door sweep and this worked just fine on the inside of my residential door.
