Down rod purchase.
Down rod matches well with my Hunter Original 52". It is installed in a room with 16 foot cathedral ceiling so it brings the original down to a level where it is easy to perform oil checks, dusting, and bulb changes.

Some might have difficulty installing the product with a "non-Hunter"...
Some might have difficulty installing the product with a "non-Hunter" fan. I figured out a way, but it required an extra trip to the hardware store.

Beware of open packages.. Unfortunately the first Rod I bought did not have plastic wrap. Got it home and the threads were stripped.. Replaced it with the exact same rod "in plastic" and it worked like a charm..

We bought 2 to replace CasaBlanca fans that were 30...
We bought 2 to replace CasaBlanca fans that were 30 years old- they look great and are keeping the room nice and cool. We had to make sure these blades will turn in both directions and they do so we are all set for winter and summer!

Your website says that it works with "Black Hunter Fans"....
Your website says that it works with "Black Hunter Fans". It did not work with this one. This down pipe was threaded on both ends. For this fan, it has to be threaded on only one end. Taking it back today.

You're correct, this downrod is only compatible with Hunter Original fans with the same name. I have provided a link below to the downrod with threading on one end.
