was easy to install except the left side of the shower wall had a thicker slot to go in back wall groove that had to be sanded down to make it fit. Other than that it was fairly easy install. We love the shower it is bright and white and the long wall shelf is very useful.

This is the second one of these I have installed in our home, the first was a bathtub/shower surround. The greatest feature of this unit is that no caulking is required. The second feature is the finish and quality of the unit. While the shelves look shallow, they do hold the usual shampoo, soap and so on. Our first unit has been installed for about 5 months. Both units were installed on a different brand bath tub and shower pan due to design needs and requirements. In one case, we wanted a much deeper bathtub than was offered by Swan. In the other, I needed a shower pan with a drain location that wouldn't require my having to change the drain plumbing. The only down side is the material this is made of is a bit fragile and prone to chipping if handled improperly, as you can see in my pictures. While this is designed to mount directly to the studs, I am using OSB behind it to seal off the wall so I will have a nailing surface for the final wall covering. If you are going to put up shower doors or hand holds, you will have to put 1 1/2" support behind the shower surround in those places you want to install to. As you can see, parts of the surround are not right up against the wall. Another benefit of this unit is, it can be taken down with out destroying it unlike 'glued to the wall' units. If plumbing problems come up, you can unscrew it to access behind it.

The only hard part was lining up walls to clip into each other. Overall I liked it. Only problem I found was no directions or clips for base.

When I got this product home and unpacked it, I found that it was badly damaged. I had ordered a shower pan from the same company and it was also damaged. I am using one of these surrounds on our Kohler bathtub, and we like it a great deal. Not having to caulk it is a real plus. The company needs pack these pieces better for shipping. I ended up buying an 'in stock' surround from Home Depot.

This shower surround is an excellent product. The installation was relatively easy in our old home. Though we have only been using this for a few weeks, we are very happy it.

Once I received an unbroken wall unit it fit good and is well worth the price.

The walls are beautiful. The back wall is not as tall as the side walls. The shelves are not very wide.

The shower enclosure seems to be working fine.

Received 2 left panels instead of a left and a right. Home Depot is trying to fix but now my project is on hold. Also, instructed to go online and online instructed to install wall board prior to shower installation. This is a direct to stud product so had to rip out the wall board to get shower installed. Not good instructions.

The first one that was delivered at the store was cracked so I would advise you to have it delivered there. I ordered another one and was very pleased. My son is a plumber so he put it in. If you have any DIY skills you can do it that's how easy it was.

We purchased this and the base at Home Depot. When we opened the box one of the shower walls was broken. We returned it and reordered another one since we already had the base for it. When we opened the second one it also was broken! We've been trying to finish our shower since June 7 and if we decide to order another one it'll be at least another week for it to arrive. It doesn't help that we have to travel a total of 60 miles to get this home.

shower walls arrived roughly on time but with significant damage from transit. ALSO had two right sides and no left. Swan indicated they were about 1 1/2 months out for replacement as they were "out of stock". The install area was completely out of service so we went with tile instead. Much more expensive but we could not wait the quoted additional time. We did install the Swan shower threshold shower pan which turned out to be well built & ......just right (so far). Very disappointed in Swan being "out of stock" for such a long period of time and the idiot that packaged two right sides and no left. This type of work ethic should not be acceptable in any way. This was just careless/I don 't care. HOWEVER, Home Depot and a manager David stepped up to the plate, took over and made every thing right. Thanks David - good job. (Tigard store #4002)

It took them 6 weeks to get the product to me and then when it arrived the 1st time it was broken to the point of unusable. It was re-delivered a 2nd time it was cracked on the corner and the clips won't stay in place. Because my house is in disarray because of the non-completion of my master bathroom, I had no choice but to accept the product and Jimmy-Rig it together for use.

We love the new shower, it gives us so much more room than a standard tub/shower. should have replaced it a long time ago.

If you are looking for a reasonable solution to a shower installation for a remodel project, this is the product for you. It is easy to install, reasonably priced and looks great when finished. When coupled with the matching shower base, it makes for a roomy and easy to maintain shower stall. When finishing the drywall do not overlap the nailing flange with the drywall just butt the drywall up to the flange. I used SS screws to attach to the studs and filled in the gap between the edge of the wall panel to the drywall with setting-type joint compound. I used the 90 minute product. I found this tip in an ebook that goes into the techniques for finishing drywall and it works great, plus it will not shrink or crack and needs no caulking. Takes three coats. Before applying the second you apply mesh tape for added strength. The only difficult part of the installation was figuring out where to position the shower valve rough-in because the wall surface sits out about 1.75" from the stud face. I have purchased and installed 3 of these units and very, very satisfied with the end results.
