Easy to assemble. Well let me say that my contractor put this in and I heard no cursing or complaining. The shelves are perfect size (if you have teenage children it limits their products. It does require some caulking, however it's not flimsy or cheap but very sturdy. Definitely would recommend this excellent product.

Ok, not the easiest. But, not so bad either. Be prepared to find out how uneven your walls are, and don't worry. Caulk will fill in the gaps. The tape that is on the walls is NOT forgivable. So watch where you are placing the walls before you put them up. Other than being very careful, it went quite well. The thickness of the walls are wonderful. I was very glad I spent the extra money on better walls. I will try and post a better photo than the horrible one that Swan provides. I have only one compliant! It is suppose to come with adhesive for applying the walls. NONE!!! I only had the one tube of white for the after caulking. I plan on contacting Swan about this! But, luckily I did find that Loctite construction adhesive is a great product for this. So, other than not getting the adhesive, this is one awesome wall!!!! And I'm picky! I'm very happy!

Mine came with the double sided adhesive which took an entire day to remove with single edge blade and Goo-B-Gone. All the bracing must be precut and fitted. When it comes time for the silicone caulk, all must fall into place and a helper is critical. The end result is great, it even smells like a fiberglass boat.

The surround seemed packed well enough. But the were two chips in side panels. unfortunately one at the top of each side panel. Disappointed but still used the surround. Had to use extra caulk to cover up. Not something I wanted to do but it took 10 days to get the first one and couldn't wait.

The bottom corners of both corner pieces were curved outward which made it hard to hold them in place while the glue set up. All panels needed to be braced for a while since they were not flat enough for the tape to hold them. The bottom MUST be placed first!

This looks great when installed. Fairly easy to do.

Very pleased with product overall. I would recommend it for someone who wants to update their bathroom.

I had professionals to install it and it works well with updating my bathroom. I really am pleased!

Would recommend with some reservations. No instructions in box. (Only a small piece of paper with a website name) No adhesive in box. A couple a small defects on wall panels including scratches, a chipped edge and a "run" in the finish. Rather expensive for what you get. We'll see how well it holds up.

Very good quality and heavy material. Installed with their instructions. Good gloss panels and they fit together correctly.

Easy to install. Very good quality. Would have been nice to have adhesive included in kit as well as the instructions. Had to go on line to get instructions. But overall pleased with product.

Product is really good and was fairly easy to install. However, Home Depot needs to update the documentation for this product available on their website as Swanstone confirmed to me that it is out of date as they no longer provide caulk for installation. Swanstone installation guide also advises to brace the panels while the adhesive sets but this wasn't mentioned in the guide available through the Home Depot website. Instead of using timber for this we bought a few cheap shower curtain rods which made the task easier. When I asked online customer service about this they were of no help and made it seem as though I was speaking a different language such was their apparent lack of understanding of my comments. Fortunately the local store saved Home Depot's reputation by supplying the missing caulk without any quibble or charge.

The ordering experience was terrible. I ordered what I thought would be the correct tub surround and came home and called my installer. He told me to cancel that order and get two of these. Have you ever tried cancelling a HomeDepot.com order? It can't be done. I talked with a manager(?) by phone. I sent several emails. I would have called the 800 number but I repeatedly got a busy tone. I would have cancelled the order via chat but when I tried that the message "All chat reps are currently busy" -- for 3 days! So I called my credit card company and told them my story. They took the charge off my account with no problem. Now Home Depot can deal with them. When one of the surround kits came in I received an email that it was damaged and I should come to the store and inspect it. I explained that I am disabled and asked if they would please inspect it and determine if it was just the box that was damaged or if the merchandise was damaged. They agreed and determined that just the box was damaged. After my installer got both surrounds completely out of the packaging he found several small dings. He figured (correctly) that I did not want to attempt to cancel another order so he did the best he could with them. After they were installed I also found that there are spots where the coating must not be thick enough because the color of the substrate shows. And one of them has an area where it has got a pebbly finish, not smooth. Bottom line is: if you stand far enough away and sort of squint so they are blurred they look great. Oh, and I did not get the 4 tubes of caulk and adhesive in each box. I got 1 tube in each box of caulk. I hope they at least keep the walls of the tub dry when I shower!

The surround was sturdy, easy to handle and very nice looking. The first tub surround I ordered had to be returned as it was damaged but Home Depot was very accommodating and reordered another right away. It took a little longer than I wanted to wait for it but that was due to the poor weather conditions. The only issue I had with the installation was trying to brace the walls as the glue dried. You are not suppose to use screws or nails to hold the bracing together but when you move one board a tiny bit everything else came tumbling down. Someone has to invent a bracing system that can be adjusted according to style and size of surround to make it easier to install. One more comment - the packaging needs to be improved. I order a cheap coffee maker and it is packed in Styrofoam and packaged really well. I order an expensive tub surround and it is only packaged in a cardboard box with no bracing to protect it from damage. Why not package that in Styrofoam so it won't get damaged?

I purchased this and the quality was very good. Thick and sturdy with good finish. There were a few small marks on the edges but nothing visible without close inspection. The five piece system is definitely the way to go for DIYers. Fit was very easy and it looks very nice installed!

Aside from arriving with a lot of fine dirt inside the box, this is a really good product. The panel system is easy to install. Though, the three tubes of silicone are not the same. So, be careful. They are the same product, but, only one is white and the others are clear. The white one is for exposed sealant after the panels are installed. I found this out the hard way...after using the white tube on the first three panels.

I am very happy with my purchase. Yes I spent the extra money on a tub surround, but it is definitely worth the price and does exactly what it is meant to do and made of solid quality.

I am an amateur when it comes to construction. Installed today. It took the help of a friend. Would be difficult to install by myself. But the product is sturdy and the installation was smooth. It did take one additional tube of silicone glue.

I ordered this wall surround to replace another one I had ordered and received that was broken. Lucky for me, too, because the first one was UGLY! (pictures didn't even look the same). This wall set, however, is GEORGEOUS! I installed by myself in a little over an hour and a half, and this included priming and sealing the drywall behind it. The finish is perfect, the fit is fantastic, and it looks like it cost much, much more. A-1 product!

WE INSTALLED THIS TUB WALL ONE YEAR AGO, IT HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME AND WEAR FROM MY 4 YEAR OLD. IT IS EASY TO CLEAN AND APPEALING TO THE EYE. WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!
