Great windows, easy to install

Check these windows carefully for quality before installing! After installing 6 of these windows I found 2 with crooked grilles and 1 with an out of square, warped frame. Andersen Windows is refusing to send replacement units and says there are no technicians in my area to install the fixed upper glass. What is really scary is after some wind and rain one of the windows had water puddled at the bottom sill plate.I noticed the screen was not fully seated at the bottom by about 3/8 of an inch. That's all it took to overwhelm the channel drains and allow water intrusion. Even after mention that I was installing a total of 16 windows, the Andersen rep. refused to cut me a break. Could be over a month until I get replacement parts that take some knowledge and skill to install.

A great window for the price point.

The quality of the windows is ok shipping was fast however they should focus more in quality control the windows had silicone everywhere very dirty some of the stains can't not be cleaned because are in between panels and scratches as well one of the the locks came of in shipping

Product seems solid, I really like the operation and the look the new windows provide and the sound insulation provided by the dual pane glass really was obvious following the installation. I think these windows will make this house a home for many years to come.

Simply wonderful! They even arrived at the store early. The only negative was on line shopping does not allow a military discount as my husband is a disabled vet. Would I recommend these yes and the staff at Bemidji are Excellent! A 5 star rating for sure

I ordered 7 windows that were delivered directly to my home a week sooner than thought and was very pleased with the packaging and quality of the windows. I would say the only improvement that could be made is the screen is a little flimsy and does not sit in its area securely. Other than that they were easy to install and are well-constructed.

We bought these windows to replace the original 1929 weighted windows in our cottage. We couldn't be happier with our choice! These windows are a good quality replacement window, and so easy to install! We are going to replace every window in our cottage with these windows. They are beautiful in appearance, inside and out! Highly recommend!

Good quality windows for a great price. easy to install.

Purchased and installed 8 windows back in 2005. Several of the windows started greying out over the last few years. According to the Customer Service, the seals failed. After providing a picture of the manufacturer's labels (which were still affixed, but faded) to CS, they sent me new replacement sashes. I was able to replace the lowers myself, but will need professional help with uppers as my windows are single hung. Very happy with American Craftsman Customer Service!

Very happy, made well, easy to install.

Glass was broken again. Had to call and file a replacement. We’ve been waiting for months for these windows and it’s delaying us from being able to get the house closed up from the weather. Very disappointed

this is a nice, sturdy, and easy to assemble window. Unfortunately, after opening the package, we found out that its edge was broken within the package, anyway, the handyman covered it with wooden frame during the installation.
