Exactly as advertised! Excellent craftsmanship and very heavy door. Be sure to have help hanging - We love how this door helped finish the look we were wanting in our kitchen.

My husband and I renovated a house and wanted to have a sliding barn door for out master closet. We ordered the barn hardware from Home Depot and ordered this unfinished door. I shopped around not only at big box stores but locally and nothing beat this price. I took a chance ordering online and not being able to see it in person but my goodness this door is gorgeous. I can not believe the quality for the price, good deals are still out there! I stained the door the color of our hardwoods and installed a handle I got on sale from Pottery Barn. It is perfect I could not be happier! I will say the door is not solid wood but it is still heavy!

I purchased 6 of these doors last year when Home Depot had a promotion on them. This year I needed two more and was at my local lumber yard and asked their price. It was almost double Home Depot's price. The construction was solid, they were easily installed, and it is an outstanding door. I like the looks of the door in my home - there is nothing better than wood. (To me, there are too many white finishes of plastic these days.) The doors look beautiful in my small ranch home which I am slowly turning into one with a Mission flare.

I bought these doors, because I could find exactly what I wanted but these were the closest. I like the look of them. When they were delivered I noticed how heavy they felt, made me think they were made of solid oak. Once I unpackaged them I found out I was mistaken, lots of glued up particle board with oak veneers. I will say that I had to cut an 1 3/4" off of these doors for my application and I was able to do this without finding a hollow spot. These doors are a decent door, not total what I wanted and expected. On the website there is no mention of the products country of manufacture, it is china.

This is a beautiful door, well worth the money. It is finely made and finished, definitely not an "off the rack" door! Gorgeous quality- could not be happier with this purchase!

Ordered two doors online via Home Depot- special order. Home Depot notified me when my doors were in and that one door had arrived damaged. They ordered a replacement. I am happy with H.D.'s customer service. Door quality is high. I knew at time of placing order that these are solid core, not solid oak. Impressed by the thickness of the oak veneer where that was applicable. the raised frame over the recessed panels are solid 1/2" oak boards. As a woodworker and serial home re-modeler, I would recommend.

One door arrived very dented. Both doors splintered quite a bit.

Great door, delivery from the factory to the HD store was slow but worth the wait.

Very nice door. Not truly a solid wood door but it is pretty close. Once they are sanded/stained they look excellent. I plan to purchase this again in the future for all of the closets in the house.

The door is fine, the oak veneer is quite thin, so if you need to cut it down, be prepared. The big problem for is was that the box was stapled to the door and it was almost impossible to remove the staples, what a mess!

Rough finish needed sanding. Veneer splintered and long strips fell off. Returned and order a different door not from china.

Door looks very nice and feels sturdy. The oak veneer used to cover the door is a little thin in some areas and had a tendency to catch and pull loose in a few places until the door was finish sanded, stained and finished with a polyurethane. Overall it has a very nice look and feel but ultimately it is a veneered door and not solid oak but for the price it looks great.

Extremely satisfied with the quality of these doors, especially for the price and with free shipping to the store. Have stained all three doors and just love the way they look. Can't wait to install them in our whole house remodel.
