Great Product Wonderful Value!
We are a remodeler and have used this product on four projects now. It is so easy to install, looks great, provides clean low energy light. We will continue to use it in living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms.

Nice housing, bulb life not great
I purchased about 12 of these to brighten up many of the rooms in my house, overall I am very happy with the housing and the bulb supplied-- but not with the bulb life. Pros: look good, decent amount of swivel, mounting in ceiling (1/2" drywall) is secure, will not overheat if insulation covered (IC rated), supplied with replaceable and dimmable GU10 LED bulb Cons: bulb life - I installed 12 lights and after 6 months of light duty usage 2 bulbs have already burned out, both with less than 100 hours (probably less than 50 hours) of usage. The bulb supplied I think puts out decent quality warm light and by my estimation matches the 5 watt / 350 lumen rating, I used many of the lights to downwash walls and for lighting artwork, great for that. As the bulbs burn out I will be researching and replacing with (hopefully) longer life GU10 bulb. Supposedly has 5 year warranty from BAZZ perhaps I should make a claim for new bulbs.....

Look good, don't perform good
After two months of installation, I have 3 lights that are out. Appears to be the lights and not the housing, but a pain none the less. Right price, but as my 8 year old son reminded me tonight as another light went out, you get what you pay for!

Horrible, even at half the price!
We bought several of these for our small kitchen. We're going all LED in the house and thought the smaller can size would provide enough light in such a small area. We put 5 of these in a 120 square foot kitchen and it was horrible! We barely put up with it for 1 month before we had enough- to spend this much on lighting and hate it every time you turn them on is a shame and a waste! Firstly, the cost of these is very high (compared to a $12 6" retrofit can + $20 LED can light kit). Secondly, the light does not spread wide enough from each tiny can to do much good. We swiveled and tilted to try and improve lighting coverage, to no avail. 2 lights were installed just 24" back from the counter top and sink, less than 4' apart from each other, yet if you stood at the counter to prepare food, your shadow would just about block out all light. It was laughable to stand there, dodging your own shadow to dice veggies safely. Perhaps as small accent lights on artwork close to a wall these may fair well, but not as room lighting. Another noteworthy thing is the light is very blue- it will take your eyes days to get used to it- an unnatural tone which may contrast with other lighting you have nearby. Needles to say, we removed the 5 lights and returned them to the store, choosing to go with just four 6" LED's for less money and more light.

Improvement in LEDs but not yet good enough for me
LED light quality (fullness of spectrum and color) is vastly improved over older LEDs I have tried. The power usage is very low, and the external appearance is excellent. The design is cleaver as you cut a small hole, wire it up and then tilt it into place. But the light from this unit seems to temporarily hurt my vision, and the light quality doesn't compare with halogen lamps. Also, the light flickers, perhaps from of a poor AC->DC conversion. A big problem with installation is that the exposed lip is way too small. When you go to make a hole in the sheetrock, it must be VERY precise or the hole will show. I used a rotozip type tool with a template successfully, but I won't recommend trying it with a jab saw. I don't recall an air/bug seal at the lip, which could make a big difference.

Great Looks, Easy to install, Very Efficient, Reasonably Bright.
It's been about 6 months since we installed the lights. We put 3 on each side of the kitchen in front of the kitchen cabinets and 1 in front of the fridge. They are reasonably bright and worked well with a dimmer made for LED's. We like them so much we added 3 more over the dining room table in the adjoined dining room and also 3 more in the living room to highlight the pictures on the wall, 1 over the fireplace and another in the corner to highlight a serving cabinet (they tilt nicely for highlighting). They also dim down very low with out flickering. They've added a very modern touch to our house AND since our house is not very big, they are small and don't overpower the rooms.

      Nice
Nice, but I did not get enough light from my 4 lights in my small kitchen, so I have to install 2 more

Efficient, high quality lights. We purchased more for the living room!
A great all-in-one solution if you would like to install recessed lighting where there was none before. I ordered and installed a dozen in our kitchen & dining room, all running on a digital dimmer switch. We loved the results so much we ordered a bunch more for our living room! After install I ran a test just to confirm that these really are safe for insulation contact – I turned them on for 30 minutes and then crawled into the attic to see how hot the can got. They were barely warm to the touch, so I have no reservations with burying these in insulation after install. One install tip - Use a 3 3/8” hole saw to cut your holes in the drywall. They do provide a template to cut the holes by hand, but the trim on the light is barely bigger than the can so if you make a mistake and cut the hole too large, you will likely see the mistake after the light is installed. That would be my only gripe with these lights – installation needs to be precise as there is not enough trim coverage to hide mistakes.
