Surprisingly Capable
This compressor is dinky. When I first unpacked it and saw how toy-like and tiny it is, I got prepared to be disappointed. The specs are not impressive either: 1 cfm at 40 psi. But when I started testing it, I was pleasantly surprised. The given dimensions are for the box, the compressor itself is hardly more than a foot in any dimension, and weighs under 19 pounds with all the accessories. It is easily portable with one hand; my other compressor has wheels, and it needs them. It is not quiet by any stretch of the imagination, but it is not nearly as loud as my larger oil-free compressor; this type of compressor is simply not quiet. Some assembly is required: for some reason the included quick-connect fittings are not pre-installed, you'll need a bit of plumber's tape for that. Power consumption is very low 2.6 amps - you won't be blowing any breakers with this little guy, and you can run it on a very long extension cord, which could be useful at times. It is equipped with everything you'd need on a compressor: tank and output pressure gauges, pressure regulator, drain valve, over-pressure/bleed valve, and soft rubber feet. The output pressure sets easily and accurately. It comes with a nice range of accessories, pretty much what anyone would need to immediately start using it: a lightweight coiled hose, tire inflator, and air gun with blow tip and ball inflator, and standard 1/4" NPT connectors, all shown in the picture at right. There is a little storage bin on the top for the accessories, but oddly, they don't all fit. The blow gun fits neatly in the cubby below the handle though. There are hooks to coil the power cord, but they forgot to include some neat way of storing the hose. A quick fix for that: thread the power cord down the middle of the hose coil before you wrap it up. The maximum pressure of 100 psi is not a problem for me. Even if I used it on a road bike tire, that is 90 psi, most bike tires are 50-60 psi, a basketball is only 8 psig. Inflating a car tire could take a while, and a large truck tire ... well, this is bound to be faster than one of those 12 volt tire inflators. I don't have any air tools to try it with, but I expect it would be limited to small brad nailers and the like, something like a grinder or a large nailer would empty it out very quickly. The picture also includes my real reason for wanting this little compressor. At the left are my vFan airbrush, touch-up sprayer, and air filter, NOT INCLUDED. At 30 psi, the compressor keeps up with the airbrush, meaning you can run it indefinitely without pause. At 40 psi, the tank pressure slowly drops, but I emptied a 3/4 ounce bottle before it reached 70 psi in the tank. For both of these tests, I held the trigger continuously. For more realistic spraying, bursts and pauses, the compressor easily keeps up. The vFan is at the large end of airbrushes, so I would expect other models would not be a problem. At 40 psi, the compressor steadily fell behind the touch-up sprayer in continuous spraying. As I recall, the big compressor slowly fell behind too. However, I was just testing, under realistic use on small jobs I think it would be quite adequate. The 3 gallon reservoir is what sets this compressor apart from dedicated airbrush pumps, it really evens out the performance. You're not going to paint a car or a fence with this compressor, but a fender, door, furniture, guitar, etc, are certainly possible. That's pretty impressive for such a small machine. I was expecting the airbrush to work, I had my doubts about the spray gun, this is a pleasant surprise. In real use, this compressor drove the sprayer as well as any other air source. Nowadays HVLP systems are in vogue. This is much more versatile than one of those, in that it can do many other things besides just painting, and it can drive an airbrush for fine work. A note about oil-free compressors like this one: these are inexpensive, lightweight, light-duty, noisy, limited-life machines. Of course, it doesn't say that on the box! But that actually makes them perfect for the homeowner - and it could last you a lifetime of occasional use for its low price. However, if your needs are greater, if you're going to be using it every day, then I would recommend a better and more expensive machine. If you're a jobber, then I don't need to tell you, you'll blow this thing up in a month. But if you're like me, going to use it once in a while, then it is perfect. Its capabilities happily exceeded my expectations.

Well balanced, easy to move portable unit
Out of the box it's nearly ready to go. You need to apply teflon tape on the inflation tools and assemble and you're in business The unit filled a little slower than I would expect. My times are as follows: Time: 0:35 20 PSI 1:15 40 PSI 2:00 60 PSI 3:00 80 PSI 4:15 100 PSI The noise level of the unit is about what I would expect for an oilless pancake compressor. Please watch my video to hear the sound during operation. It was well encased and no hot parts were exposed. Handle was centered and the unit was well balanced and easy to carry. The onboard compartment is nice to keep from losing your attachments. Built in cord holder is nice I am not sure why the gauges go to 180 PSI when the most it will output is 100 PSI. I would have preferred a gauge in 1 PSI increments vs 5 PSI increments for finer tuning of the regulator. The bleeder valve is bigger and easy to grip onto. The supplied attachments are solid and built well however the hose is cheap. It is not designed to work in an automotive repair shop so I think for a consumer it will be just fine

Perfect Sized for Small Garage with attachments.
This is one of the best items added to my home. This unit comes with the accessory kit so its perfect for the average size home. Auto tires, bikes, blowing out dust from computers, and this entire unit is portable. plug it in and let the compressor charge tank and then unplug and now a mobile lightweight air compressor. It also takes little space.

    Meets my simple needs
Had to play around a little with the hose and adapters. The unit is noisy inside a garage setting. Will need to buy more assessories to make this useful.

      Compressor
You get what you pay for. I was hoping it would fill faster. Takes a a few minutes to fill. It was purchased for filling up flat tires and kid toys so for what we bought it for works well. I don't think it's cut out for nail guns like it says it is. It will only let you set your pressure at 60lb which is not enough to run my nail guns.

          Don't wate your money.
You get what you pay for. The air tank is too small to even pump up a car tire. Bicycles and balls it works great, but that's it.

          Horrible compressor
What a horrible compressor. I've owned it just over a year (of course out of warranty 1 year period) and the thing stopped compressing air. I've only used it 5-10 times. What a piece of junk! I would not recommend this compressor to anyone.

          Time Will Tell
I have only used the air compressor once and therefore my average only ratings and a no for recommending this product to others. Primarily I am writing this evaluation to say that the owner's manual is very poorly written. It provides confusing instructions, does not specify the exact functions of each part of the air compressor (pictures would be a huge help). As a DIY with no prior experience with this sort of product, I went to Youtube and watched some instructional videos that were helpful. Now, I know some (or a lot of guys [and some gals] will say, "this guy is really a sorry DIY guy." However, for those of you who like clear, complete instructions, beware if you buy this product.

          Disappointed
After prepping the compressor as per instructions I used it for about 20 min. and it worked fine. The next day I plugged it in and it never got above 20psi. Nothing I did seemed to help. I'm very disappointed.

          Failed before first use
First impression was that it's a nice little unit. Ran it through the 30 minute "break-in" period, then let it run till it shut off at 100 PSI. All seemed fine. Yesterday I decided to top up the car tires. I turned on the compressor, it got up to about 50 PSI and suddenly the sound changed (a bit noisier, running a little faster) and could not pressurize any higher. I powered it off and used what air I could. Turned it back on and it would not pressurize at all. Guess a seal or gasket blew. I was willing to exchange for another one, but when I took it back to the store this morning, the clerk said she had seen a couple others returned for the same issue. I'm disappointed but decided to shop around for a different model.

          Not powerful enouh
I bought this compressor for small jobs around the house like inflating tires and blowing out air filters. While it works fine for most of these jobs, it took about twenty minutes to air up the tires in my pickup truck. The unit is fine, but I wish I would have bought one a little more powerful.

          Nice little Compressor
Pound for pound a great little compressor. Sure its not huge and sure its not fancy, but it gets the small jobs done really well. Filling tires and beachballs is it's wheelhouse. And about the noise: I read other reviews about how loud this thing was supposed to be and bought with a little bit of trepidation. Let me just say the noise is laughably mild. If I stick it next to my pillow I'm not going to get a wink of sleep, but outside or in your garage, bah, it's totally reasonable. No reason not to buy it for a little bit of noise, especially if you're not using it 24 hours a day, which this thing would not do anyway. A great value.

            Perfect for Household Tasks
This compressor is ideal for inflation tasks around the home. It has PSI to spare for tire inflation (even that pesky mini-spare that requires 60 PSI), as well as anything else you can think of. The adjustable output pressure even allows for use with an airbrush. Light weight, easily portable -- recommended.
