Nice smooth well milled baseboard. A couple of spots were a bit damaged on the edges, but no more than a couple of feet worth in almost 300 ft of baseboard. Hard enough so that it is difficult to use a trim gun without pre-drilling. I would buy again in a flash.

Not as pictured - No TAPER
The cross section pictured is NOT correct.
This product has a FLAT not TAPERED body. There is a quarter round on one edge, otherwise this is FLAT. The back side is slightly relieved similar to the cross section image.
The wood is clean and evenly grained and colored. It does require sanding to take a stain well (mill marks will show after finishing if you don't).
This will work for my use, but I would have preferred the look as advertised.
