I use the grommet kit to put grommets in my gloves (lower corner, inside, opposite the thumb), and a carabiner clip to keep them on my belt. That way - they are always with me. You will never lose/misplace gloves again with this grommet/carabiner technique. Don't know about the reviewer who said pound on concrete - I just use the anvil provided and use a piece of 2x4 wood in my vise as a base. Works fine - only need a few taps with the hammer. Results in a perfect grommet. A good 3/8" punch works better than the one they provide - but that's no big deal.

Have used these grommets several times before & was always please at the quality of the product.

Seems like a good product; a little thin; a heavier weight would be an improvement. ALSO--- they were very difficult to find in the store--- on a bottom shelf stuffed in the back. Store person was very helpful for finding them.

The instructions were not clear about which side is up on the back ring. The video gave some indication if you watched closely or looked at the photos. The product does not work well on thin material. It lacks teeth or a rough edge to bite into the fabric. I used it on a car cover and the fabric pulls out under tension even when I was careful to hammer the pieces together with the tools provided in the kit.

Works great. Will purchase again ?

The hold cutting tool DOES NOT WORK. The grommets and the setting mechanism are okay.

Punch works, which is unusual for most kits of this type, the interchangeable anvil faces are a plus although they have to be retightened repeatedly during heavy use. Grommets are good quality and hold up well.
