The 16 sockets, ratchet, and extension, come attached to a red plastic holder. This holder is reusable, so you can clip all the sockets, ratchet and extension back on to the holder if desired.
The sockets fits 6 different fastener types (E-Torx, Square, 6 point, 12 point, 6pt 50% rounded, and Spline). This is a good all round set that covers all major fasteners you are likely to encounter.
If you have large hands like I do, you may not like the thin ratchet handle, I didn't find it that substantial. I prefer a larger surface area when working with stuck fasteners.
The markings on this set appear to be laser etched (see my pictures). The markings are also just created in outlines of the font. I found the glare from my workshop lights, or working with these outside, made reading these markings a little difficult.
For the price, this is a good all round set.

Great product
I purchased this set with low expectations because of the low price point. I've used it many times and it's proven time and time again that it can handle the job. It's rugged case is convenient for keeping everything together. Five stars from here!

I don't take a 1 out of 5 star review lightly. The 14 mm socket that came with this wrench destroyed a very hard to get reverse thread bolt for my 2008 Mazda 3's belt tensioner pulley. First the bolt was wedged so tight in the socket that I had to clamp the socket and use a hammer and screw driver to pound the bolt out. It then stripped the bolt head when I attempted to re-install the belt and tensioner. Finally the switch for the direction of the ratchet failed to engage and the ratchet became wedged onto the car from the force of the tensioner. I had to use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to flip the direction of the ratchet so I could remove the tool. Mazda does not sell the bolt by itself, only the tensioner and pulley. Which means, a 5 minute $15 job was turned into a 2 hour $230 job because of the poor fit of the "universal" sockets in this set.
This is not the only time these sockets have had poor fit, just the most costly. The 17mm socket that comes with this set did not properly grab the 17mm bolt in my BMW's steering wheel and I was forced to buy a separate socket from another manufacturer.
I have returned all the Husky ratchets and attachments I've purchased from Home Depot and I cannot see a time where I would consider Husky ratchets ever again. The time and money that these poorly made tools have cost me are too much to ignore.

Quality product
Would always prefer to buy from Lowes as the shopping experience is always superior to Home Depot.

Nice ergonomic handle on a solidly made ratchet with both conventional and metric sockets. A great middle-of-the-line choice cost-wise . A nice addition to my tool collection.

Spline sockets
I needed a 12mm spline socket to remove a Ford drive line and could not find one anywhere. This was a lifesaver. Some people call these double square sockets. Either way, when you need one you have to have a perfect match. It was nice the set included metric and standard. These are real high quality, well made and very durable. Husky tools are the way to go.

Great value
At first I was only looking for the ratchet but then found this set which included a carrying case plus sockets for the same price. Couldn't pass it up

I was skeptical
I came in for a new ratchet as my old one wouldn't convert forward to reverse very easily anymore and instead of continuing to the frustration I went to purchase a new one. I didn't necessarily need any more socket sets as I already have accumulated three or four over the years but for the price it was a steal to purchase this one. I love it!!! it is my go to for everything. I have even hammered on it to anchor a expansion bolt in concrete and it still operates and looks like new.

Tool parts you have to want to lose
The packaging of the socket set has proved to be as valuable as the tool itself. The individual sockets clip into place on the plastic packaging of the socket set. Losing small things has often been the bane of my existence, and the way this product is packaged, it's all but impossible to lose anything. Well worth the price.

Excellent value
I normally buy craftsman tools because of their quality, but this is every bit as well made as a craftsman and half the price. It feels sturdy and works smoothly (even on the tough engine bolts in my car).

A REAL multi-tasker
This set turns out to be very handy to have around. When you have those bolts that have rounded corners, this set can still fit it! The Torx head bolts that only were used on specialty engine exhaust and intake manifolds are finding there way to the toys and garden equipment available today. With these sockets you now have all of the current bolts used in manufacturing covered. The only bolts I could not fit these too, were ‘British Whitworth’ type bolts heads. So unless you are working on classic British Motor Cars or Cycles this set works for you.

Missing size 15 and 16
This set is missing two important sizes. It goes from size 14, to size 17. You need size 15 to put a standard bike together.

Solid and functional
The wrench set does what it should do. In comparison with my other wrenches however, this set actually feels a little more sturdy. The sockets don't wiggle when attached. The are attached/detached by button push on the back of the wrench head, keeping them in place without slippage. The full array of socket sizes are provided and each fit several different nut head types. If you don't have a place to store the wrenches, they could be kept in the packaging which holds them well.

Basic but quality socket wrench set
I gave this as a gift to my husband, he likes it a lot. Nothing fancy about this set, but it appears to be good quality and should last years if treated well. We don't often use mm but it has the basic sizes in inches as well, and I guess we will have the mm sizes for odd jobs which do creep up. Overall happy with this set, seems to be a very good value.

Better than expected
Nicely machined and heavily chrome plated ratchet and sockets. Ratchet has excellent fine 72 click teeth. Sockets are deeply roll stamped and not just etched with sizes. I tried to overwork the 3/8" ratchet by using it to take off a set of truck lug nuts with an iron pipe cheater bar to give the handle more leverage. The ratchet passed my test. I like the round handle which is like one of my old favorite big name sets!
