It cut through glass tile beautifully!

Works great, a bit pricey.
I choked on the price for just a few holes, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I needed to drill 12 holes for 2 grab bars and was nervous by some of the reviews. I figured I’d start with just 2 on each end. Keeping the bit wet and going slow they cut like butter through porcelain tile, so I went back and did the additional holes! I set up the hand held shower head for a constant dribble and going slow was the key. So, I guess money well spent!

for punching holes in porcelain tile this works great
This is my third diamond max hole saw bit, I have three different sizes; at first glance, they are a little pricey, oh, no, a lot pricey, but they work better than anything else that I have ever tried. Together with my Milwaukee hammer drill on high speed, with a little squirt of water every 15 seconds or so, it eats right through porcelain tile and Hardi-backer board, and if it could speak, it would say “gove me more’!

    Great tool. Keep it wet.
I bought this tool to install mounting clips for a glass panel for my shower. The ceramic tile was expensive and laborious to install so I did my homework and trusted Milwaukee. It did not disappoint. My wife spritzed the work with water every 10-15 seconds as I drilled. I was concerned because the holes needed to be drilled a half inch from the edge of the ceramic tile. No problem. No chipping. Clean smooth perfect holes. When quality really counts, do your research and trust Milwaukee

It went dull fairly quick. Had to drill 8 holes it only worked good on the first 2, the rest were very hard to drill in porcelain tile.

Great product, just make sure that you have a water spray container to keep it cool.

This worked like a charm to cut through my porcelain floor tile, with no cracking. The bit held up for 4 holes. I used masking tape to cover the dot to be drilled, and kept water on it to reduce heat, going in, to start, at a 45 degree angle. Pleased!

        Quartz Counter Top
Drilled a 1 1/4" Quartz counter top like butter. Kept the bit wet by making a small pool of water held by plumbers putty. Hand held drill very light force and the bit did its work. Used this bit to drill the counter top to add a reverse osmosis faucet.

Failed to cut a single hole
I needed to cut about 6 holes through porcelain tile. The hole saw was completely dull about halfway through the first cut.

            Worked Flawlessly
Worked great to drill 12 holes thru porcelain to install 2 grab bars. No damage to tile. Started to drill at 45 degree angle then moved to 90 degrees. Something I read in reviews and the process worked perfectly. Recommend bits for tile. The one bit did all 12 holes.

Great however 3/4" bit was too small for 3/4" PVC
Did a great job drilling even through the paver was thicker than the bit was long. Went halfway with water trickling from a garden hose. It went through slowly and nicely. The core came out with the bit so I was able to drill the rest of the way through. I was disappointed that 3/4" PVC would not fit into the hole. Instead I had to run the drill and wobble it around in order to make it larger. Once done, I pounded the PVC through the hole. Once done, it looks great!

                Awesome drill bit!
I had eight holes to drill to install an angled shower rod. This drill bit was awesome. I started at an angle at a higher speed to make a groove and then straightened it upright. Not one cracked tile.! These bits are expensive but well worth it!

                  Setting holes into granite?
The bit was used to create mounting holes to mount large floating house numbers to a granite wall. With the application of a water dribble from a garden hose as I was machining the hole, the holes were round and no runout, easy to core each 1/2" deep hole within 5 minutes each. No big deal...good outcome with a good product.

                  Works great
Had to drill four holes in porcelain tile to mount a toilet flange you need to start at a 45 degree angle then gradually bring it straight up, only drill for about ten seconds at a time then spray the bit and hole with water. Each hole took about five minutes. One bit did four holes no problem.

                    Takes a loonnnggg time
Took 30-45 min. each hole. After 4 the saw is worn down. Will need another for the other 4 holes. Not happy about that. We kept it wet and oscillated as we drilled. The porcelain tile is 5/16” thick & tough as nails! Finished holes look really nice.

I drilled 8 holes in porcelain tiles and it was super easy.My son was constantly spraying cold water on it and I was cleaning it out every 5 seconds.Make sure drill is at slow speed with moderate pressure. Keep it cool and cleaned.

I drilled 8 holes through tile and didn’t crack a single one, couldn’t be happier! There isn’t much, that’s more stressful than doing a tiling job, and then needing to drill through that tile! Would buy several times over!

                          Worked perfectly
I bought this to drill holes on a soap dish to prevent water from puddling. Worked perfectly. I poured water in the dish and started at a 45 deg angle and then went up to 90 deg while rocking side to side. The hardest part was to get it to stay in one place at the start. I held the drill bit end in one hand and used the the other hand to power the driver which helped stabilize it. Also, I drilled at low speeds (like a 5 or something on my Dewalt). Also dipped the tip in water after each hole. Came out perfect for my purpose. Only dislike is the red coating comes off instantly so it should've been left un-painted at the tip.

                            Awesome for Fireclay Sink
I used this bit for a reverse osmosis faucet to add on to our fireclay sink. I cut the hole before the sink install. It worked like a charm. I sprayed some water a couple times and cleared out some of the debris as it cut. It cut through about 5/8" very smoothly. The hardest part was seating the cut at the very beginning, but if you start at a 45 degree angle like the video suggests then you should be good. I rotated it like the video showed as well. I would definitely purchase this and use it again if I ever had a need.

If you're making holes in tile, this is it. Different sides for different applications. Don't forget to use a lubricant even if it's just a bottle of water

                                Does not last at all
Bought it to drill porcelain tiles. Tested on ceramic, drilled one hole then used my regular drill bit to save it for the real job. Can't finish a porcelain tile, half way through. Water and circular motion don't help.

                                  Excellent Hole Saw for concrete!
I Cut Through 3' concrete in two different locations. The hole saw seemed to do an excellent job and cut a nice clean hole. It does not have a pilot bit in the center, so I cut a 1" hole in a board to use as my Gide. I clamped the board in place, & the hole saw was slow, but steady and clean. I did add a little water to help with the cutting. I wold deffinatly recumbent this hole saw for concrete or tile, possibly granite.
