I have the larger workhorse too and like it as well, powerful enough to do anything but for the smaller amounts condiments, sauces, chutneys this little wonder is perfect. A friend was by - seen it - went out and purchased two - one for the house and one for their motorhome!!! This item is a great price as well. Love it.

It chopped my vegetables perfectly in seconds. The only thing I found difficult was opening and closing the top. Even though it looks easy to use, I do recommend reading instructions before using. It look us a while to figure out how to start it until we read the instructions. Push down on the top handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a more elaborate and expensive food processor but wasn't able to use it with arthritic hands. This 3.5 cup chopper is easy to handle, there is no aggressive locking mechanism and only one button - so, super simple to control the outcome. I like that the opening on the cap is a funnel for liquids - makes it super easy to multitask pouring and processing. Also, no splash back like the traditional larger opening found in most lids. Pics are of the little cord chamber - great for storage and the toggle switch - simple control of speed.

We always had the manual palm pump chopper and this makes cooking and efficiency much better! Easy to use, convenient, and the best chopper I have used or seen. I would recommend. This is a simple food chopper but the input and output is noticeable quality!

I filled it with Oreos to make an Oreo pie crust and it shredded through them with ease. I like how the lid locks down and the thumb a top the handle is easily used to activate the chopper. All the blade and chopping bowl are easily cleaned in dishwasher as well. Finally, there is a lever to adjust speed/result desired.

I used it recently to make a garlic aioli and it was fantastic at chopping the garlic to a fine texture that I needed. It’s easy to clean and easy to operate. Be careful, the blades are very sharp - which is great for the functionality of the chopper.

I’m able to finely chop onions without any mess or tears! Can also chop them so small I’m able to hide them from my children in our meals. Bonus!

This particular one does not disappoint and is every bit the quality and durable. I love that it is very heavy duty and not like other less quality options. It does a wonderful job as a good chopper and super easy to clean and store. I will say though we don’t store this appliance very often as it is used several times a week. I am very happy with this product and looking forward to many years in our kitchen. I recommend if you are looking for a quality food chopper to give this KitchenAid a try. You won’t regret it for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of electric choppers, as they are more efficient when cooking for a crowd, however this one left me a bit frustrated. The instructions on how to open the cup where not as clear as they should have been. Afraid to break the clear plastic attached to the black, only after 15 mins did I realize it was one solid piece, I was able to open it. Pleased with the cup size, I was able to place a substantial amount inside. The pieces were smaller than I would have liked, but were still usable. Cleaning was easy and finding a nook to store it was simple due to its compact design.

I usually cut by hand but it's getting harder to do evenly. The Kitchenaid chopper works amazing. Literally in seconds the onions are sliced thinly and perfect for my dish. If you keep running it, the onion gets chopped very fine and small. Excellent little gadget.

This little chopper Saved me So much time for Thanksgiving dinner, I can't even tell you. Instead of cutting up all the vegetables for my stuffing and other things, I used the Kitchen Aid food chopper and I was like a little kid watching how much time this just saved me. I used it for my diner and even the dessert that I made with nuts. The blades cut right through those nuts and they were the Exact size that I needed. When I was done with it, the cleaning of it was a breeze. If you don't have one of these Kitchen Aid Food Choppers, you HAVE to get one. You Won't regret it!!!!

The possibilities are endless. The chopper is lightweight and easy to clean. It is durable. I have used it so much since owning it, and it is still running strong. The bowl has a handle and pour spout, making it ideal for serving. I also like that it has two speeds, so you decide how course or fine you want your food. It is such a great product. I plan on getting my mother one for Christmas.
