I used it for the sides of my raised bed

The Staples work as described. I only gave them a low score due to the fact that because they are not a traditional nail with a head to strike ( not their fault for being born a staple rather then a nail !) so you often times will strike that other nail ....your thumb! Works well but the bends of the staple are off making it go in on a slant , adding to the degree of power used with each swing of the hammer smashing your own thumb nail.

Great for holding animal fencing

Great for wire that won't have to stand up to large farm animals. I'm using these to hold up a welded-wire fence around my garden and they're perfect. These are much, much easier to drive than the 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 staples.

Perfect! Great for attaching deer fencing!

These staples can be a little tricky to use. They are made with one side just a tad longer than the other. They need to be held a slight angle to ensure both sides go into the wood at the same time. Also held a little longer to make sure they don't fall out or go sideways. The up side they hold great with out breaking the joints on the wire we were using.
