Used a pair of these for a water filtration system connect to existing Plumbing. Use plenty of Teflon tape before threading into the female end of the filtration unit. No leaks. Push connect worked like all other SharkBite fittings I've used in the past

Product works well. Don't forget to grab Teflon thread tape. Used it as a reducer fitting for my PC1000 Pelican Water Filter system. My water line is a 3/4 in pipe and this seamlessly plugged the existing infrastructure into the 1in 5 Micron Filter from the pelican system with no trouble at all.

Seal the threads, Then simply push in the pex and it is sealed!!!

Perfect for my application. Routed the expulsion of the water-heater pressure release valve to the exterior of the house. Could not have been easier! And the fitting spins (normal) so you can tighten or loosen the threaded end after installation.

I used two of these to install a new GE water filter. These SharkBite fittings are the best thing since sliced bread! So easy to use. I have some SharkBite fittings that are over 11 years old and still no problems with them so I was confident that these would work out fine. Also used a SharkBite hose and elbow fittings.

Purchased this item to install a house filter and I am glad I used sharkbite because I didn't have enough teflon tape on the threads and I was getting a drop of water from both ends , used the special tool that comes with certain sharkbite item to remove the pipe going into the fitting , if it all would have been an all solder job , I would have been up a creek with no paddle . I sealed the threads 5 times with teflon and used some plumbers putty reinstalled the pipes and no leaks from anything . You can install remove and reinstall pipes into a sharkbite with no leaks ,now I know why professional plumbers give it a bad review .

Bought these for installing a whole house canister style water filter. Only had a small spot where I could mount it before the softener so could not sweat it in and chance melting the plastic filter housing. I took care cleaning the copper pipe perfectly smooth and I had no trouble, it slid on very easy. So far no leaks. I have not used these before so I was unsure especially on a 1" supply line. Great option when you cant sweat a fitting in.
