And got the job done perfectly

Never heard of a slip Tee, but this one sure got me out of a jam. I had a short run with no way to pull apart enough to accommodate a regular Tee.

Great product easy install

Easy to install if you follow the details steps and instructions. No water leak and I installed it on cooper pipe.

Should have a female end with the t kittle taller to hold exp tank anither femsle and 1 bite on top

I wonder how much business plumbers have lost across the world because of sharkbites. No sweating copper, all have you have to do is cut your copper, cpvc, or pex, make sure to clean/deburr the ends and then connect. It is easy and just works. I have used these to make connections all over my house and not a single one has failed over 5+ years, I have heard they should last longer than the pipes themselves, let's be honest all plumbing fails eventually. If using cpvc make sure to get that one.

Easy to use simple install

Worked as I hoped to add an additional outside spigot, just cut the recommended amount of copper line, slide long side over then slide back into place and presto a T where a solid copper pipe was.

I needed to redo some plumbing in the basement and I didn’t want to deal with soldering. This worked perfectly. You do have to be precise in measurement and the direction of installation. I was about 1/16 inch short and if I’d installed it in the opposite position I would have had more room to “slip” this tee and make up for being short. I will say that it’s takes some effort to slip onto copper and a whole lot of effort to remove from copper. Overall, I was able to make it work and I’ve had no issues so far. I used other Shark Bite connectors on this project and it was simple to do by myself but required a lot more time than I thought I would. Soldering copper is a bit more work but I think it would have gone much quicker and would’ve been cheaper. Shark Bites are great if you don’t want to deal with soldering.

While these are nice as there is not soldering required, the shark bite connectors I have purchased in the last few months don't seem to be as easy to take back apart. Even after purchasing the more expensive prong removal tool.

Returning the item with copper tubing because I couldn’t get the t-fitting to release the pipe. The idea is great, however I find disconnecting the fittings to be rather difficult. Old school soldering is the way to go.

This saved me from soldering in a tight spot where I would have to dismantle half the pipes - not an option - to get enough clearance to apply heat safely. One thing: I keep these connectors in visible spots. These are rated for 20 years but I’d rather see it if it were to fail on 21st anniversary.
