Great pressure washer. Lots of power, plenty of water. Engine cranks up nicely. Ridgid 3-year warranty from a company that stands behind their products. I have another Ridgid washer at 3000PSI and its still going after 9 years of moderate use. The only thing I don't like is the footprint. My old washer was 28" long, but this new one is 40" long and that makes it hard to store as it has a much larger footprint due to the frame and handle that sticks out the back. You may want to add an extension hose as the one included is only 30 feet, so I got another 50 foot to reach to the outside second floor. The back leg only has one rubber bumper; I would have preferred 2 to give it more stability.

Finally had a chance to put this pressure washer to good use. After my old 2700psi pressure washer bit the dust this past season, I wanted something with a little more power. I did a lot of research and decided on this pressure washer because it had a Cat pump. The pressure washer is solidly built and exceeded my expectations with its power. I thought the idle down feature sounded a little gimmicky; however, it may be my favorite thing about it. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the gun. It’s not something I even considered when weighing my options, but the rotating lockable handle and grips are really nice finishing touches. The only thing I miss about my old unit is the soap tank, but with the extra power, it’s not necessary for the projects I’m using it for. I’m extremely satisfied with my new pressure washer.

Love this pressure washer. It was easy to assemble and started with the first pull on the rope. The idle down feature is great as it conserves gas and unnecessary wear on the engine when you are not squeezing the trigger on the gun. The documentation would be improved if they used better pictures in the install guide. You need to look at the install guide and owners manual to figure out which way to install the gun holder. I think I had it assembled and running in 30 minutes from opening the box. I bought a 50 foot hose extension for my home to have a better reach without moving the pressure washer. Highly recommend as the Cat pump and Subaru motor are a great combination. Much quieter the the pressure washer it replaced.

Fantastic! What a huge improvement from my previous electric pressure washer. Tons more power. I can’t imagine not having the Idle Down feature. It saves a lot of fuel, time and energy (restarting). I highly recommend!

Plenty of power to do all pressure washing. Very well built. And the idle down is helpful when not in use two.

Use the recommended hose and the unit works great. Used to remove paint and loose stucco. I would recommend this unit to anybody.

I turned it off for a little while and when I tried to restart it I could not get it to start. The yellow tip would not come off of the wand and the wand holder vibrated off right away.

Instructions are really bad. The frame for the unit is loose with no way to tighten due to the oversized holes and undersized screws. It has plenty of power. I have only used it twice so far this summer.Truly for the money spent I really thought it would have been more robust.

The item arrived w the box full of oil machine would not start I followed all directions and after all failed had to bring by myself to return -

I own a few powers washes this is a very nice machine the idle down is great. Last washer lasted 15 yrs. we will see about this one

I must got a lemon. This is my 2 Nd ridgig powerwasher as soon as I got it home. The red cap that was on the cat pump was broke. Took 2 weeks to revive that. So finally the first time I get to use my powerwasher the wond broke. The trigger on it broke. Buyinkg online is a very bad idea

Great machine! I've done a few jobs with it and has done an amazing job. Just enough psi to clean most surfaces!

Replaced my 10 year old Ridgid power washer with the SP170 Subaru engine and CAT pump.It performed excellently. This new one is extremely similar.

I bought this pressure washer because of the pump and motor. I just did my first job with it and it exceeded my expectations. absolutely love the idle down feature! No complaints.

I have been a professional painter for 20 years and have pressure washed for hundreds of hours. I can honestly say this is my favorite washer I have ever used. The idle down feature is awesome; it saves gas and my ears. The Cat pump provides plenty of pressure as does the Subaru engine. My only complaint is the short hose. I already purchased a second 30 ft hose to extend my reach. The hose it comes with barely makes it to a second story park. The gun it's terrific. I may switch the extension out for a shorter one as the length can be awkward on a ladder.

Been using it steady since purchased washing a building. Works great. Olny tip keep checkin rubber boot on bottom it can wiggle loose a lil thread locker good to go. Really loke this machine. Well worth it

This is a very well built unit. Cat pump is a big plus. The down side is the hose. It is way to stiff. Will not relax keeps winding up and returns back to the machine.

Simple, high functioning. It started on the first pull of the engine. Read instructions in detail, I am familiar with Cat triplex type pumps enough to say that if you run one dry or to vacuum you will damage it. If you are not sure of something re read the instructions.

Unit ran great with plenty of power.Only issue was idle down.With soap tip unit would not idle up at all.Could not soap house .Returned unit for that reason.
