Customer Reviews for IGLOO 3.2 cu. ft. Mini Refrigerator in Red

First off this review is in 2 parts. The first is reviewing the difference between what is advertised and what arrives, and the 2nd part reviews the actual fridge that arrived. So the after 2 days on the phone with HD CS, i have concluded that the pictures provided for this product are photoshopped. The image (and specs) show a black interior, heavy duty wheels, a work bench/scratch proof top, a lock to secure your drinks, no freezer, 3-4 shelves, etc. What i received looked accurate from the outside, but one inside: White interior, freezer, rubbermaid style wheels, no scratch proof top, no lock, freezer shel w/ 1 mini ice cubetray (see pics). The reason for the difference? the images are actually of an different manufacturer, Craftworks Toolbox Fridge! So with that aside, i wanted to review the fridge that was actually shipped to me, made by igloo. As i said, all the hightech things that were promised on the spec sheet are not on this unit. The casters are the cheap ones you see on the bottom of rubbermaid storage drawers; there is no lock; the freezer does NOT get cold enough to freeze water; and the wire door storage that holds soda cans, is poorly designed and doesnt actually hold the weight of the cans. The space is too snug for the cans, and gravity plus opening the door quickly cause cans to explode out of the door. (SEE PICS) I love Igloo, my family has used their products for over 3 generations, i still have my grandfathers cooler. But this product is sub par, and i hope isn't a reflection of the direction this company is going with their products. The only positive things i can say about this fridge is that its a great idea for a man cave, in theory not delivery.

So far so good! Arrived on time, is what I ordered and seems to be working. As far as energy efficient I really can't say as I have not received a bill yet and probably couldn't tell the difference any way...just turned off the Christmas lights so the bill will seem small no matter what. :)

I bought this for my husband for Christmas to put in his shop and he loves it! Most people don't even know he has a fridge because he has it inbetween two tool boxes. It was a fabulous find!!
