Great hinge, frustrated with the change in color of Aged Bronze
After living with the tacky, builder-installed brass door handles/hinges for the last 9 years, my husband & I finally switched out the handles for Schlage levers in aged bronze. Wanting the same quality & exact color, we started buying the Schlage hinges in-store at HD. I cleaned out our local HD but still needed 12 more 3-packs, so ordered them online from HD. Like another reviewer said, the packaging says aged bronze but the actual color of the hinges is black. Shiny black. We're fortunate to live in a large metropolitan area, so I started going to other HD's as I was near them. Some stores would have a pack of the right color here & there, but I am still short 9 packs.
Frustrated, I contacted Schlage directly a few weeks ago. The customer service rep was unaware of the issue & offered to ship completely free of charge some hinges to me directly from their warehouse as a customer accommodation (kudos to Schlage!). I requested only 6 of the 18 that I still need and received them within a few days. While they aren't the shiny black that I received from HD online, they are closer to the original color but still not the same. They are darker.
Not sure at what point Schlage changed their color, but it's a shame. They need to match their colors to their handles.

Quality Hinge But Color is not right
For some reason Home Depot is selling this product in Aged Bronze packaging but the color is black. Not like the picture seen here. It is a Schlage Issue and may be the reason this product is out of stock. Great Quality Hinge set for sure, just be careful if you are trying to match your Schlage Aged Bronze Door Knobs/Levers.

Like all Schlage Products, it met expectations and worth the extra couple of bucks
Schlage continues to do a great job in providing high quality parts for all things door and entryway. For only $2 more over the house brand, you get what you pay for. Good instructions, quality screws and ease of installation. Be sure to purchase the right size radius as 1/4" and 5/8" look fairly similar to the naked eye, but will not fit in your frame and door if you have the wrong one.
