We bought ours in March 2023. We use it once a week depending on the weather. Ours only came with on securing nut and bolt to hold the fire screen to the base. The wooden handle on the lid split after the second use but did not break off. By the end of April the screws that hold the handles on were completely rusted and one broke. It is now September and the wire cage has completely rusted through on two of four side panels and they are curling outwards.

The instructions are incomplete. Some of the hardware was packed incorrectly, e.g., a lock nut was labeled as a regular nut and vice-versa. The screen is not round once assembled and doesn’t sit flush in the bowl. The assembly uses washers that are too big for their intended applications. The handles don’t sit flush against the lid or the bowl. DO NOT BUY!

I was pleasantly surprised how good the instructions were. They were easy to follow with step by step instructions and illustrations. The instructions also indicated exactly what screws, nuts, etc I need for each step. I haven't used it yet but this is very sturdy and well made. The wheels are very good as well as all the materials used in the manufacture of this patio fireplace I am very happy with this purchase and I am very happy that I was able to put it together myself!

Good looking fire pit. Side grates don't align perfectly and the oversized washers overlap on the lid, but not to bad to assemble.

I just put my firepit together. Good instructions. Looking forward to using it.

We bought this fireplace so we would be able to have family/friends over to visit in our driveway (6 feet apart) during the COVID-19 pandemic. We absolutely love it! Love that it has wheels and makes it easy to move around. All our neighbors have commented on our driveway fires!

I'm super happy with my purchase so far (one use in)! Took me about 1.5 hours to put together (while watching a movie in the background) , and I'm typically not great at assembly! First use was great, we live in a townhouse and needed something that we could move to the end of the driveway and back up to garage. This is perfect! I hope it lasts years!

I just got this yesterday. Very easy to assemble and I'm excited to use it this weekend.

The first time I used it, the finish is already bubbling off.

This was purchased as an early family holiday present to replace something I had for 15 years. With a break in the snowfall, my boys wanted to initiate it. It handles larger logs (than were used to) great and is very easy to use. The fire just seemed to last a very long time. It was wonderful. It is nice to be able to easily move it from place to place. We are looking forward to many years with this.

Out with the old and in with the new!! We are on our 3rd Bessemer Patio Fireplace. We burn lots of fires and are ready to use the new one this weekend!!

I just bought and assembled my second Bessemer Patio Fireplace. I prefer this model for several reasons: (1) the sidewall grilling makes it safe for children and pets who are always moving around the fire (2) the wheels make it portable so I can host neighborhood fires in both our front yard and backyard (3) it holds quite a bit of wood and (4) the cover keeps rain out so ashes from a recent fire don't turn to sludge if it rains overnight. Very pleased this model is still available.

Was just delivered. I assembled it (real easy). Now we can’t wait to try it!

I bought this outdoor fireplace for our church to use for campfires on our property in town. We needed to contain the fire in order to not break any laws. It was a little hard to assemble, but we are looking forward to using it many times! It fits perfectly in the back of my suburban to transport.

This my 4th or 5th bessemer patio fireplace. They provide a great enhancement tomy Michigan winters.

A couple of issues, melted plastic wheel, vent handle on bottom broke off.

We replaced that we used for 9 years. We used the new one and the hollow wheels melted. I wish we had saved the old solid rubber wheels. The warranty states that I am responsible for the shipping costs of repair parts. Not a happy camper right now.

Our children purchased this fire pit for our summer birthdays. We like the doors on this product. It makes it easier to insert the wood instead of removing the lid.

After purchasing a similar product at Menards that we returned, we purchased this fire pit. It is well made and went together very easily. I will feel very confident using this product/

Husband was able to put it together fairly easy even though it was missing some nuts and bolts. Used it for the first time this weekend and the handle broke off of the door and the bolt screwed in from the outside to the bottom portion came completely through now the screen is screwed down to the base very disappointed will contact customer service for replacement parts hopefully Was really looking forward to a firepit that can last us many years but as you can see in the pictures that is only after 1 trip camping and about 4 fires

Perfect pit! The grate, that so many complain of, is extremely easy to adjust! The holes are adjustable so don't tighten them when you pit it together. I did and it didn't fit into the bottom pit, so I loosened the bolts and it literally fell into place! I then snugged up the bolts and it has been perfect...love this pit!

I received this product a little over a week ago. Assembly was fairly easy. I made relatively small fire of twigs and branches, started with newspaper. I started to smell plastic burning after a few minutes and was confused, because I knew all I had thrown in was clean wood and paper. Too late, I realized that the wheels were melting. For the price I didn't expect the best fire pit, but that was a small fire, and the wheels are pretty much shot.

I easily put this together. Ready for hotdogs!! I like the safety screen to see the fire. You can remove the screen and use the lid to smother the fire. (I use oven mitts. ) I also like the fact that it can be moved wherever I want it.

Works so well in the Backyard. LOVE IT! The best fire place out there on the internet.

The fire pit was easy to assemble and looks great. Waiting for next weekend to fire it up. The screws with the washers worked great. The person who could not get his screen to stay must have neglected to use the screws and washers provided to anchor it to the base and the person whose screen and base separated with the screw piercing the base neglected to use the provided washer which would have prevented his problem which his picture clearly showed.
