I bough this unit a few years ago and it has never run that well. The motor makes a lot of noise. In addition, I recently had a custom wine cabinet built for it in my kitchen. No where in the Instruction Manual does it say that it is a Free-Standing unit only. My instruction manual says "When positioning the wine cooler, ensure that there is at least a 5cm (2 inch) clearance at the sides and 10cm (4 inches) clearance at the back of the cooler as this is the main outlet for heat." I had the wine cabinet built to account for this and it wouldn't hold its temperature. When I called Vinotemp, they were unhelpful and rude. Now I wasted $2000 building a custom cabinet for a useless piece of equipment. And its virtually impossible to find another wine refrigerator that I can fit cleanly into the cabinet.

bought this model 4 years ago and recently wanted to expand our bar area so a second one was added and it looks and works first rate !

My husband and I purchased this as an addition to the bar we just completed. It is extremely quiet and with the stainless steel design is an attractive addition. It has the capacity to store up to 28 bottles of wine and the double pane glass keeps everything even when the cooler is full chilled. We could not be happier with our purchase
