Our product is visually inspected prior to packaging.
It is them picked up by a freight company who delivers it to you, the customer.
Depending on where you are located the unit can be handled several times
and yes, sometimes the product gets damaged during this process.
if you discover dents on the unit, you should contact Home Depot Customer Service to make a claim and it will be handled by them.
