[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this LG fridge as a floor model and have been happy with our purchase. Also, LG customer service is amazing!

We purchased it about more than 4 years ago. Since the beginning it was very noisy. Now compressor is not functioning. We love the door in door feature and it matched perfect with our all other LG appliances but refrigerator experience is terrible.

I've had a fridge that i purchased in April of 2020. It had some issues with cooling, warranty coverage has handled it for free. That was amazingly quick and professional technician dispatching. Definitely i love LG products.

I was surprised to be asked to pay for the labor to install a compressor on a refrigerator where LG was aware of the problem. The Frig is about 7 years old at most. I am a mature person with a good knowledge of appliance parts and faults. Compressors just do not fail! I had told my wife, it is a real problem if the compressor is bad. I was not surprised to hear of the class action suit regarding this unit when I learned the compressor was bad. See my attached photos. I moved my in laws into a new home here. The frig and range were provided by the builder. I bought the same washer and dryer for them that I have for myself. LG should make this problem right by not requiring the owner is have to pay for the compressor labor for a Frig that is less than 10 years old. A compressor will last at least that long easily (5 years is not long enough). What does your R&D data show regarding the typical compressor life? Just my thoughts on how LG can improve in standing behind their product.

Purchase this 09/20 compressor went out on 06/21 along with food spoilage. Shelving is thin plastic and have a crack inside the door. Too many problems for such a short time of owning this fridge. Second refrigerator we owned in less than 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in side-by-side fridge/Frezzer and less than 2 years later compressor went out and blew tge control panel which had an integrated fuse. Took 3 weeks and three service calls (2 control panels and one compressor) to get it running again plus @ $1500 in lost contents and another $500- $1200 in lost diabetic medication.

I have bought this unit in July 2015, in April of 2019 compressor went out, LG service replaced defective part. April 2022 same issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought refrigerator along with microwave,range and exhaust hood for new house in August 2018. Everything was fine 2020 when clock display on the range quit working properly than the refrigerator and freezer quit cooling December 2021. I called customer service and they said a repairman would call and make an appointment. When the repairman called he stated he would be replacing the compressor l ask why when no diagnosis’s had been done. He stated it was always the compressor and after he replaced it everything works as it is supposed to. My suspicion is the company knew they have had a batch of bad compressor’s and should have issued a recall and I would have not lost all my contents. The repair was covered by warranty.

Fridge & freezer stopped working after 2 1/2 years! There is a class action law suit against LG compressors! Repairs cost more then a new fridge! They won’t help after 1 year warranty! $2400 down the drain! $500 in food gone 3x! Never again LG I hate you

I bought my refrigerator 6 yrs ago, compressor broke, and I’m so disappointed at first, however, when I called LG customer service, they took the time to solve every detail of my issue. LG has an excellent service, as well as the product itself! I truly recommend buying an LG appliances because they won’t let you down :)

I got one 3 yrs old no guarantee and stop working right now I can't recommend LG same thing with the stove right now $1800 dow the drain and LG can't help me out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace an other LG fridge with botton freezer. Didn't like no water and ice dispenser. This thing is top knock. The small door on front for condiments is the bomb. Keeps you from having to open the whole door every time you need a drink or mustard. Plus when you open the fridge door the condiments are accessible too. I love it so glad I purchased this thing. 4 thumbs up to LG.

The refrigerator has many additional features in addition to the extra space and separate storage for Milk, Orange Juice and everyday necessities. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, it, love it!!! We bought the LG Door in a Door in February and my husband and I just love it. It looks great and works great. It has so much room in both the freezer and refrigerator side the half door for drinks and daily used item is a joy. I also like the water tray in the front it comes in handy for filling up a large containers. Also with my other refrigerator we were constantly change the filter which became very expensive so far so good with this machine. If you need a new refrigerator this is the one to buy.

Died after 2/1/2 years. No freezer or refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new LG refrigerator for about a month now & I absolutely love it. There is so much room in both the refrigerator and the freezer. The feature of being able to open the upper part of the door on the refrigerator to access frequently used items is awesome! Just be careful when you get a glass of water. That feature is separate from, and in front of, the ice button. We found out when my husband didn't realize it & he got wet! I purchased this in black and I love how it looks.

Loved the look of the fridge and the functionality. Had it for 3 years and the compressor failed. LG said it was too close to the side wall. They red listed it and warranty void asked for over $1000 out of pocket to repair it. The repair technician’s from LG are terrible. Save yourself the trouble buy a different brand.
