Less than one year old and it's rusti g and the white powder coating is falling off. Now it's just a rusty mess.

I used this grille for an alternate use. In our house, we have a box where all of the cable and ethernet cords come to. Some people refer to this as a "Smart-Box". When I was building the space out under my stairs so we could use it in the even of a tornado, I had to drywall the entire space. I didn't want to drywall over the smart-box because I thought the internet router and modem inside the box would produce too much hit and have nowhere to vent. So I purchased this vent and installed it on the backside of the smart-box. This allows the internet equipment to properly vent and also looks better than just leaving the back of the smart box showing.

30 x2 is misleading the actual hight is approx 3.5 inches yes it will cover a 2x30 opening but I was looking for a total hight of 2”

i needed a 24x 16 vent and every where i looked it says 24 but when i measured it , it was actually 26x16. Not gonna work

The heat is great, but the mounting support is flimsy. If the mounting support was stouter it would get a perfect rating.

it was not a filter type

Since the louvers extend further in than the frame, the duct opening must be exact - and mine was not. I assumed the louvers would be flush with the frame.

It is a bit flimsy for the purchase price.

Vent is not actually, 24 in. x 16 in. That's the effective size. Vent is larger.

You sent me a 20x24 which I returned to the store
