[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in 2012 and is sad that it just stop working (2023). It is still looking good. The Doors have small dings in it. The compressor has gone out. I was told that ll yrs is well beyond expectation of an LG. I just was my refrigerator to work.

Love our refrigerator it has lasted us these many years till recently that the compressor gave up. And LG came thru replacing it for us because they backed up their warranty!

So annoying, I loved this refrigerator, and still do, but we will have to replace the darn thing now because it started to rust under the water/ ice dispenser. Otherwise it works great! I had to put black duct tape over the rust so people would not get cut until we can buy a new one. It is only a few years old.

The fridge did not last long.LG technician say it needs maintenance. He replace the compressor the fridge work for 3 days then broke down again. He diagnose it again and say the condenser and the evaporator it's the problem.He say he had to charge me $500 to fix it.because it's maintenance problem.this is ridiculous he just saw a little bit dust at the back of the and he say it's a maintenance problem.WHAT KIND OF MAINTENANCE?RIDICULOUS! I'm a owner of another fridge for 13 years more cheaper than the LG,but still working I don't do maintenance.the LG refrigerator is like 3 1/2 to 4 years old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had our LG a few weeks but so far it's working well. The only drawbacks are that it runs out of ice quickly, takes too long to make more ice, and the water dispenser is slow (can take more than a minute to fill a small glass). Otherwise, it's working well and we're happy.

Love placement of ice maker. Doesn’t take up any shelf space One recommendation...add 1 more bin to the right hand door.

I’ve read some reviews, and not really sure what they are talking about. The unit cools very good in all zones, and the Linear compressor is very Quiet. I would recommend this unit to everyone.

It's very bright inside. Love the filtered water. It's very quiet - we never hear it running except for the occasional 10 seconds you hear it make ice. Overall we are thrilled with this fridge and hope it lasts a long time. We are very satisfied with our purchase and would buy it again.

Excellent product. A few minor issues: First, the refrigerator was delivered (and refused) because of two very noticeable dent/scratches on the front door. Note: Cardboard shipping box showed no punctures or dents meaning the factory actually packed and shipped a damaged product with obvious defects. Took Home Depot just two days to replace the refrigerator with another perfect one. Second, after delivery, the refrigerator developed a noticeable hum (rattle) occurring whenever the compressor kicked in. Apparently the unit was not exactly level as pressing lightly on the front top of the unit would cause the noise to clear up. I contacted the 800 support number and was told to adjust the leveling feet under the front of the unit. I made the adjustment, which stopped the noise, but, having the two leveling feet extended to the floor results in not being able to use the roller feet to move the unit back and forth on the floor. That was unacceptable so I purchased two small furniture "sliding pads" at Home Depot and inserted them under the front two roller feet - thereby slighting lifting the front refrigerator enough to stop the noise. At least this way I can still move the refrigerator back and forth - just have to remember to place the two pads back under the front rollers. Other than that, the refrigerator is very well built and efficiently designed. PS: We did have to remove 1/2 of the upper shelf to allow for more tall items to be refrigerated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is top of the line. It has french doors with the freezer on the bottom. The door slides out to put the frozen food inside and I find this to be very convenient. The water and ice are inside the door and a tall pitcher can fit inside it. It has a lot of room and is well lit. This refrigerator replaced an 8 year old Samsung white side by side refrigerator with water and ice in the door. We are very satisfied with this new appliance. We looked at in the store on the show room floor before we purchased it. We bought an extended four year warranty as well. It is very attractive in appearance and fits very nicely in our kitchen. I give this unit five stars.

I got excellent help from the gentleman at Home Depot in Cranberry, but we ordered online because we needed to verify dimensions and make sure this refrigerator had all the features we wanted. Ordering online gave us time to compare, decide, and purchase....delivery men were excellent as well. These new units are not yet rated for electrical consumption, so time will tell. There isn't any rebates available for these units for energy savings

I am a first time home buyer and this fridge was a house warming gift from my mom. It is so spacious and has a ton of compartments for organizing. It looks great in my kitchen and I love the water and ice dispenser on the front. It is so convenient for grabbing drinks on the go. It has great lighting and I get so excited every time I use it. Can't wait to fill it with more great stuff!

This is truly a state of the art refrigerator. It is so easy to use all the features. I love how the refrigerator has a feature that allows it to communicate with my smart phone should anything go wrong with the refrigerator.

Purchased this about 2 months ago. We have zero complaints. I searched for months trying to find the "perfect" fridge. This is it!! Love the in-door ice maker. It is a huge space saver.

Unable to repair my compressor due to no repair providers in my area willing to work on LG appliances.

I purchased this refrigerator and never connected the icemaker. When I finally connected the icemaker, it would not work. The icebreaker cannot be reset I believe it was defective when I purchased it. It had to be because it

This fridge has had nothing but issues. Ice maker is bad and inside either freezes over or defrosts on its own. Its sitting in the garage and not usable. I tried to get LG to offer us some money towards a replacement. But requests have gone unanswered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stay far away! The known issue with the compressor caught up with me. Ruined everything in freezer and fridge. The cost to fix was almost the price of a new fridge. Based on that, i had a relatively new fridge hauled away and replaced it with a different brand fridge.
