This axe head broke while chopping wood during our camping trip. Axe head went flying and nearly injured a friend. Reached out to fiskars and they would not honor any warranty. I would not recommend this product for long term reliability and safety. Purchase a solid wooden handle instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this axe when we took down a tree that had been damaged in a storm. There were a lot of thick roots in the ground that were hard to remove. Thankfully this axe really helped to be able to cut them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars X15 Chopping Axe has been an awesome tool to have. My home is on about 5 acres of property and much of the land is covered in trees. I needed an axe I was able to use often but would still be durable enough for the bigger limbs. This axe has to be one of the sharpest I have purchased. The weight is evenly distributed so it makes for an easy swing. It has made clearly the dead branches on over a hundred of our trees so much easier. After many uses, the blade has stayed very sharp. I was worried because the axe isn’t huge I might have some trouble with the larger pieces. I was very wrong. I’m not sure if the smaller size gave more of an efficient cut or the head of the axe gave more accuracy but every cut was precise and went almost clean through. I was really impressed with the Fiskars Axe. The company made a really great, thought out axe for any type of job. Even the handle for simple storage was a great touch. The sheath fits nicely and looks sharp.

The best thing about this axe is the blade and how well-built it is. It's got a life-time warrant and there is a reason for that. It's the build quality of the axe. I used it to chop some wood and it does the same and even better job of axe that is 3-4 times heavier. The quality of this product is unmatchable. I wish, I could give it more stars. Very impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product about two and a half weeks ago and I am so glad that I did I got it to cut up wood cut up trees whatever I need to in my backyard and my front yard it works just great it's nice and sharp and the handle well the length of the handle is perfect for me and it's so easy to use if anyone is looking for something similar to this I highly recommend this product as it is work just great for me

Has a protective cover that also serves as a handle so safe to store. Excellent quality and price. Fiskars makes high quality products. Looking forward to many nights by the outdoor fire pit this year, both at home and at the campground because I now have a better axe to chop wood with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Fiskars brand of axe. The axe is sharp, chops deep, splits well, and keeps its sharpness chop after chop. I already had a 28" axe and after using this 23" in even more impressed. I'm confident in every swing, knowing that my mark will be hit accurately and through. The handle is easy to grip with a diameter that provides for a firm grip. The sheath is a great add-on being durable and easy to use plus it helps with storage. This is a great product from a quality brand! Plus the axe looks soo cool with the black blade and shaft and bright colored handle. I feel like a superhero using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this amazing axe a few day ago and I couldn't wait to use it. There was a small tree in my backyard that I wanted to use it on. This axe is amazing with a couple of swings it was down. It cuts into the wood so deep with very little effort. It has a very comfortable handle and easy to use. I highly recommend this amazing product for everyone who wants a great axe.

Awesome. Chops down pretty large trees with ease. We use this to replace a chainsaw. Tried others and they stunk in comparison. Get this one if you have serious chopping to do!

Absolutely love, love, love, this axe. With little effort it gets through some tight stumps.

I thought I was taken a chance,but wow I luv this ax.Mine showed up pretty darn sharp already,but I ran a quick flat file on the blade and man ...............well lets just say everybody want to borrow it now!

We have Fiskars hook blade hatchet that we purchase 15yrs ago and we are still using it so, when it came time to buy an axe we purchased a Fiskars as well.

Very sharp. Nicely balanced. Well suited for home projects.

I had to chop out a tree trunk, albeit not large, but large enough. This axe made light work of that tree and I got a good workout from swinging this little beat. The axe size is perfect for my strike power against the tree roots and trunk. Not too long and not too short. It's worth the money.

Fiskars in general is always a reliable brand; this axe is easy to use, perfectly sized and has a safety cover included. Highly recommend.

Great little axe. Small for camping or good to use for small splitting jobs next to the firepit which is where I use mine. If you are splitting lots of wood or larger rounds I would upgrade to the X25.
