Flex draw frig or freezer

    Total Fraud
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This piece of junk is on its THIRD compressor and has costs us twice what we paid for it in repairs. It is part of a class action lawsuit that is unfortunately closed without providing relief for everyone that owns this engineering nightmare. Avoid LG at all costs.

      Almost immediately, the finish began to flake off of the door. It was replaced, and is now doing it again. We have had the compressor replaced TWICE!

        Piece of junk
        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it 4 years ago, since early last year refrigerator stopped colling properly. Milk goes bad in a week. If you set temperature 35 Farenheit you may achieve 50 F to 58 F. Now freezer is not achieving freeing temperature. It takes more than 48 hours to get any ice. Iceream remains soft or light melted.

          Nice counter depth refrigerator
          This refrigerator is very nice . It is a downgrade from my prior LG buts also $1000 less so that’s expected . It does roll out when I open the freezer drawer so I will say the rollers are very good for loving it around . I’m hoping to figure out how to keep it put . All in all very nice , as expected . Water pours fast in the fridge which is nice . Finish is lovely .

            Replaced the compressor three years ago this month and it’s broken once again. I’ll never purchase another LG appliance.

              Very spacious with cool features
              We had to get a new refrigerator quickly when the previous one stopped working. We were drawn to this one because it was the right size for our space and had more storage space than otherwise comparable models. We really like the door within the door for easy access. The craft ice function is pretty neat even though it’s not a necessity. Our only complaint is that it took several days before the water from the dispenser became cold. But overall we love how efficient, functional, and stylish our new refrigerator is.

                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with my LG refrigerator. It has good lighting and one of the features is it beeps when you leave refrigerator door open too long. It alarms you to change the filter. Great ice maker, filter water, cools produce well. Has good storage place to store your food and freezer. LG has a great customer service where you can reach them with any issues and they have great service technician who are very knowledgeable.

                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am beyond shocked! I spent thousands on a fridge which failed only months after my purchase in 2015(new circuit board replaced). The compressor failed in 2020. As of Nov. 28, 2021, the compressor, condenser, fridge and freezer evaporator have all been replaced, but the fridge still does NOT work. As a real estate estate, I can NO longer recommend LG to my new homeowners. I would not wish this experience upon anyone. LG, Life's NOT Good without a fridge.

                            3 years old fan and compressor died
                            First time it died was a bad fan. A month later the compressor has failed. Waiting 3 weeks for a tech availability to replace it. Ruined our Thanksgiving plans. Family of 5 with no fridge for 3 weeks sucks. I will never buy an LG fridge again.

                              Falling apart
                              Bought this a few years ago to go with my newly remodeled kitchen. Within a year the paint or whatever it is started peeling even though I only cleaned it with water. Now recently a drawer pull broke off and won’t go back. I’m assuming that since this product is no longer available I won’t be able to get a part to fix my drawer. Terrible!

                                Defective
                                Will NOT be purchasing LG again. Our fridge and freezer stopped cooling after less than 2 years and was told by an outside repairman that they made fridges in the last 5 years with a known defective compressor. LG extended the warranty to 5 years which was nice and came out to repair after a few weeks but here we are 6 months later and the fridge/freezer is warming again. Called and they said they would dispatch someone to repair but the company can’t come out til over a month from now. Apparently they will keep fixing this LEMON every couple of months til the 5 year extended warranty is up. I appreciate LG extending the warranty but at this point it’s so inconvenient having our groceries ruined every couple of months and doing without a fridge for weeks at a time. DO NOT BUY LG!!!!

                                  Wish we had ordered something else
                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less than a year after purchase, the interior froze and the freezer stopped working. We had to replace the motor. 1 year and 1 month after purchase, one of the door storage bins cracked. Today, the bin completely broke, spilling full glass jars on me and tile floor. It was an explosion. I've had it with this thing. I'm always cleaning the grate in back so that it the air circulates, and now I've got broken glass and salsa everywhere. Our old fridge never had these problems.

                                    Under 4 years old and has broken down 2x for their compressor. Customers are already paying enough for the small inconvenience capacity. One word for this fridge LEMON. Don’t purchase spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Beautiful to look at but buyers with children this is not smudge proof as advertised. We have a 17 year old $500 fridgidaire with ample storage that is still running today. Thank god we would’ve had spoiled food and living out of a ice chest thanks to this nice looking piece of junk. We will never make a purchase like this again disappointing and useless.

                                      Not a fan of this fridge
                                      This refrigerator was in place when we purchased our house - I haven’t been happy with the design or function from the beginning. There are multiple seams in the drawers that allow spills to seep into places that can’t be cleaned. When I arrange the adjustable shelves for optimum storage, a gallon of milk just barely won’t fit on the main shelf, so I have to raise the shelf above, losing 1.5” storage height. The gallon container storage on the door isn’t useful to me. I keep one container of that size, and it shouldn’t be kept on the door-it needs to be in the coldest spot in the fridge. There is a 3+ inch loss of storage space at the back of the fridge because the shelves have a slope and don’t go all the way to the back. Now the compressor gave out. Customer service was helpful, and they will be fixing it under warranty. But we lost a lot of food and will be six days without use of the fridge

                                        Not Happy!
                                        Purchased our refrigerator in March 2016. In December of 2018 (right before the Holidays) the freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling. Lost $$ in food. Repaired with a new compressor and I still have problems. The refrigerator never goes below 43 degrees (even though temperature is set between 34-37 degrees) and when the door is opened the temp goes to above 50 degrees rapidly. As of June 2019, a cup or more of water collects under the large deli tray every 2 days. A another repair man came out, took the back off the inside of fridge and the coils were frozen. Again food loss. Unplugged fridge for 24 hours to allow for coils to defrost and allow water to drain. Drained into the fridge again not out the back!!! As of 8/24 water is still collecting under the deli tray in fridge. Waiting again for another repairman. So frustrating!! I have a full suite of LG appliance as well - microwave, range, washer and dryer hopefully these will continue to perform properly!!!

After 3 days on the phone with customer service they told me they would not repair it as this is considered a "cosmetic issue". I expect to have a beautiful looking refrigerator after spending $3,600. I am very disappointed in LG :-(

                                                  I wish I could say something positive about this product. It looks great and have nice space but that’s where it ends. From the day it arrived and plugged up it sounded like a 1969 Camaro was running in my kitchen. Always running hard and for no reason. Fridge could be closed for 12 hours straight and you could hear it running as if it’s been open for three hours straight. Purchased last year on 1/9/18 and delivered a week later, as of today I have no fridge and just finished setting up a repair that I’m not to hopeful for. So yes less than a full year this fridge lasted and I’m still paying on it. Would be nice to have been paid before it quit but nope. Fridge I replaced was 12 years old and never once had a problem. I truly hope this can be fixed but I can’t in good faith recommend this product. I’m hoping my dishwasher I purchased at the same time don’t break like this. Was told my product is out of warranty by five days but they would wave the cost, surely hope they would otherwise don’t sell a product you know won’t last even a year. The warranty should be five years as this seems to be a common product.

                                                      Excellent fridge, keeps very even temperature, quiet, good ice maker and dispenser. It fits perfectly in out space and I like the huge, well designed freezer drawer. Two minor drawbacks: Stainless steel facing is beautiful, but marks very easily - every fingerprint shows.Second, the vegetable/fruit drawers are oddly configured with 2 large and one small. The small one in the middle is pretty useless. Why not two even sized drawers, or one larger and one smaller?

                                                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure that a counter depth refrigerator would have enough space inside but I am so glad I chose this model. I love the French door style with the freezer on the bottom. All my food items are easily accessible and there are lots of storage in the door for gallon sized containers. The freezer also has 3 levels of storage and accommodates different sizes of frozen foods. This refrigerator really updated the kitchen in our newly purchased 1992 house.
