Our Fridge works great. we use the water/ice dispenser frequently. And the convenience of side-by-side doors, counter depth makes our 'galley' kitchen even more usable. But, the 'display panel with temp' is going bad. What can we do?

My brother takes very good care of his things. I love his fridge too. One day, he pulled out the fridge to vacuum around And under it. He then noticed the rust spot. This is in the left side, towards the back, where no one really touches it. My fridge/freezer is much older than his too! I have never seen a fridge rust before. Very disappointed

Functionally it keeps items cold and does its job. Sometimes the ice machine malfunctions but oh well that's understandable and usually figures itself out eventually. But overall I'm very disappointed that the display is not functioning as intended. It appears as though multiple portions of the LED display have burned out for no apparent reason. It hasn't lasted more than 1 year. It's rather annoying when friends ask about it multiple times. I wish this could be easily fixed, even though the issue shouldn't have happened on the first place. Unfortunately this is rather terrible quality.

The inside shelving and bins inside the fridge side are very accommodating. As for the freezer, you have plenty of room, two huge shelves which are wide and deep.The freezer also come with two pull out basket style bins which are also pretty large.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Fridgidaire Side-By-Side is our new best friend. I'm tall, so this design is perfect for me. No more stooping to search for the milk...it's right there at eye level. The water filter is inexhaustible and has been pumping out delicious H20 for months. The ice is perfect, like it's sculpted by an artist. It may sound crazy but I even look forward to cleaning this bad boy when the time comes. It's about time Fridge Art wasn't just what you stick to the fridge with magnets...it's the fridge itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kitchen layout has a narrow walkway to the dining room with the countertop on one side and the fridge on the other. There was little clearance since our previous fridge stuck out well beyond the cabinets. We have been updating our kitchen and were looking at appliances quite a bit. We finally ran into this fridge that was 5” less deep with nearly the same cubic feet of space inside. Sooo happy with our decision to purchase this fridge. It is apparently being discontinued so get it while you can! There’s Is actual line of sight into the other room. The only negative is that it is louder than our previous fridge. Could be less insulation, could be the fact we ripped up the floor and have not replaced with new tile yet. That may muffle the sound more.

Works very well and I am happy with it. But it is bit noisy but tht is not a concern since it is located in my garage.

Plastic drawers that slide in and out need work. very sticky. All in all very pleased

I bought this a few months ago, and I just had to get it serviced for the second time, it would seem the doors were poorly assembled at the factory, so they do not seal properly and over time moisture accumulates and turns to ice blocking the air circulation between the freezer and the fridge side. I hope it’s only my fridge specifically, otherwise it’s a terrible design flaw.

Very nice fridge, but the electronics started to fail after the first year. The user interface has a circuit board with surface mounted LEDs and the quality control is subpar. This type of board should last forever - and I had LEDs starting to fail after the fridge went out of warranty. Now, at the two year mark, you can't really see anything on the display unless the kitchen is completely dark (see the pic - it's 33 degrees, but only two of the LEDs making the second '3' are working).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about a month ago. The unit was making a LOUD buzzing noise, so we called and it was replaced. The next frige was making the same noise. I realized that the noise was because the ice maker wasn't connected. After connecting it, it still makes noise but not as loud. Also, the doors do not sit evenly. You can see in the photo how the doors do not meet evenly.

A month after we purchased this (October 2015), we had the filter light go on for the water dispenser. Then this last month we had the display light go wonky. :( Not cool. This is only 20 months old! Also, the ice dispenser is not great. Basically we can never do crushed ice without making a total mess, so we never use it. In addition the ice maker is on the fritz and won't dispense. But it eventually figures itself out. Just inconvenient when you need ice in the meantime. Who wants to run to the liquor store? Not me. Sigh. I just wish it worked when we needed it to. That is its job, afterall. Sorry Frigidaire. Not impressed. First the dishwasher, now the fridge. Hmph.

Before, I owned a standard sized Frigidaire and I never realized how much space it took up in my small kitchen until we did a kitchen renovation. My new counter depth Frigidaire is awesome! It allows me to see the beauty of my entire kitchen without the hindrance of the refrigerator sticking out past the counter and blocking the view

We've had the refrigerator for 6 weeks and are very pleased with our purchase. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised that you can put magnets on the front which is what our daughter wanted. The front doesn't get smudges like our old one which always looked dirty. The handles get a bit, but that's a quick clean. We have a couple small complaints. The ice comes out super quick at times, so you need to pay attention. Also, if you press to get ice too quickly after changing from water dispensing (switch & press dispenser split second after), the ice doesn't dispense. When this happens you have to press water then ice and all is good again. These minor issues just require a bit of thought to overcome. This might be a problem in some households though. Some reviews complained about noise, but it doesn't seem any worse than are old one.

This is the worst fridge I have ever encountered. For starters, 24 hours after it was installed the ice maker failed. A tech was dispatched a week later to put some insulation around the water shoot because without intervention it would continue to freeze up. Great design! The noise! When the compressor turns on it sounds like a saw. The tech said this is because they don't use insulation on fridges at this price point any more. It's truly horrible and it can be heard on the second level of my home. If you have an open floor plan, this is not the fridge for you. The ice maker / water dispenser - so far we've had two instances where ice got stuck in the shoot causing the dispenser to be stuck in the "on" position! Another time, ice stuck in there caused the water to be stuck in the on position, spewing about 3 cups of water on our floor before we were able to get it to stop. Additionally, about 5 seconds after you’re done dispensing water, a drop or two comes out. So be prepared to always have water on the drip tray. The engineers who made this should be ashamed. The drawers... oh the drawers are horrible. Plastic sliding on plastic with horrible fitment. They often get stuck when you try to push them in. The temperature inconsistencies - I put a digital fridge thermo on each shelf to check how it was doing. You know, can't generally trust a fridge set temp so adjust accordingly... well, after the fridge had been on for a few days with the temp set to 37, the top shelf is 46, the middle shelf is 43, the lower shelf is 41. Nice! And to put the finishing touches on this lovely fridge, the "Fridgidaire" badge stuck in the upper right corner, it was stuck on crooked. Yeah. Must have put this one out the factory doors at 5pm on a Friday. The only reason I am stuck with it is because of a unique cutout that was built around this same fridge, but an older model (2007 home). Thanks builders. To recap: believe the reviews you read about this fridge on the Internet. They are true. Stay away at all costs!!!

I purchased Frigidaire appliances in 2015 after having purchased new Frigidaire appliances in 2007 at another home that were the professional series. H D did not have that series so we purchased Gallery. What a let down, all the good I thought of Frigidaire has gone away. Save your money and buy better. If you can tolerate strange noises and like your ice on the floor, you might like this frigidaire and if you go for cheep shelving that breaks ever so easy buy this one. There are no kids in our house hold.
