These lights burn brighter and cooler that the typical incandescent bulbs. The fact they use less electricity is amazing. An excellent purchase.

great replacement for halogen low voltage lights
These make a nice replacement for the small reflector flood lights used in low voltage landscape lights. They are nice in that they do not have a polarity so you can plug them into existing 12V AC low voltage system. Using only 4 watts instead of 20 allows more lights without changing the transformer to a more expensive one. The only problem I found, is that the skirt of the reflector bulges a bit and I had to cut some of the spring material (in my MoonraysOutdoor Grey Low Voltage 20-Watt Rock Spotlight) holding the base onto the bulb. Since this does not have the heat problems that exists with halogens, I do not expect this to cause a problem. I have changed from 4 lights to 7 lights on one circuit and will add another 5 more.

Seems to Be Working Well
I put in the first bulb and was able to compare it side-by-side with a 20w halogen. It provides and excellent warm white color match. I have 18 outdoor fixtures that I am converting over to the Feit LED so I am looking forward to lower electricity consumption and longer life. I hope that they are able to deliver.

Excellent Product
Been using this product for two years prior to finding it on Homedepot.com. Best price on HD online! Only drawback - I live in St. Louis, MO and it ships from manufacturer in Los Angeles - takes a week to receive. Plan ahead! Otherwise great!

Expensive...I hope they are worth the price.
I am using 18 of these on my landscape lighting to replace 20W quartz bulbs. While they are expensive, I hope to recover my costs in reduced electric bills within six months. It certainly is worth a try...utility rates rarely fall, so the switch to led should lead to savings and longer bulb life.
