For municipalities that require an external disconnect at the meter, this is the hot setup for overhead services. I have installed this meter/disconnect several times with easy approval from the local inspectors. The 100A two pole breaker has a 10K AIR rating so you can use the less expensive Main Lug panel inside the residence. Provides for a neat and compact installation, lugs are easy to access and it looks good on the building. Would be nice if there was just a little more room to install an insulated bonding bushing, but it is workable.

This does have a 200 amp single breaker in it. There is ample room to connect 4/0 4/0 4/0 2/0 service cable from it to your main panel. There are several knockout locations alone the bottom and 2 hub locations in the top. mounts with 3 screw holes 2 toward the top and 1located center bottom.
