Starts super easy just like my champion log splitter! Using to water a large remote garden . Way more capacity than needed and get the job done ! I would definitely recommend.

This pump is doing the work! Easy to assemble, except for suction hose. Starts at the first pull and is easy to carrier. Size and weight are ok for one person to maneuver. Amazing price compare to other brands. The only think I would like to improve is the length of the discharge hose, a 50 feet hose will be better.

Honestly had no idea Champion made more products than generators and when searching water pumps on Google I came across this. They have a lot of products I am going to try now. A++

I buy these pump to drain a large amount of water that accumulated on my back yard do to the large storms we have in California/ with 170 ft of discharge hose work great no problems...

Came very neatly packaged. All the parts were there. Like the extra hose. Seems to be a decent pump the only problem we've had so far is the fitting was hard to hit fit into the you need a heat gun and should be discussed in the directions

We can't say enough good things about this semi-trash water pump. We're on a recovery mission in Fort Myers Beach, after Hurricane Ian. We selected this pump in Wisconsin and brought it with us to Florida to pump out our swimming pool. (Our car is in the pool along with a lot of sand and debris!) This pump was a real champ, pumping out our pool in less than two hours. Tomorrow, we'll use it again to pump out our neighbor's swimming pool.

We bought this for our swimming pool, to drain it. Although, around an estate with a few acres, I'm sure that it would be used for many of things. I've always considered champion for generator's and now water pumps. They are great for the money, hard to beat.

This all-in-one unit works perfectly to both lower our pool level before season close and to divert a bog breaching our property into a creek over a berm. The green hose is a little tricky to stretch over the connector but will stretch with adequate heat. The portability of the unit with the wheels and handle is an added bonus. The unit started on first pull and remained on for the next hour and a half until it ran out of gas. I highly recommend this unit for when needing to divert water!

HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE YET. CANNOT NOT GET THE GREENHOSE ON TO COUPLER. COULD BE PRE-ASSEMBLED AT FACTORY. UNIT HAD SOME SURFACE RUST , INSIDE PACKAGING. FILTER SHATTERED IN MY HAND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO PRESS INTO GREEN HOSE.

I am very impressed in the quality and performance from my new pump. I use my pump to run a large gold recovery sluice. Very minimal assembly, comes with everything you need to get up and running. I'm very happy , Thank you Champion !

I purchased to clean out a well full of silt it work great wish hose was a little longer but we made it work. Set up was easy.

Great unit! Easy to move around and use. Priming is simple and starts first pull. Supplied hoses and gear is good quality.

I use this pump to fill my tank ( pond) up it was getting very low. The pump was very easy the start. Very easy to prime and pumped thousands of gallon from the creek .

I found this product to be very useful. was able to empty a 20,000 gallon swimming pool in 2 hours. once assembled was easy to start. was impressed with the pumps power. actually lifted hose off ground for a few seconds as it began to quickly empty the pool. i will have many uses for this in Florida during hurricane season to remove water from flooded areas quickly and easily

Absolutely love this pump. Had trouble getting it to prime at first. My dad pump a lot as a coal miner, and told me to slather some grease where the pick up tube meets the coupler. It started to prime so I used RTV for a more permanent solution. Starts easy and pumps well. I've read reviews about priming issues, it's not the pump! Use he black RTV and give it time to cure!

We live on an acre and our backyard is slopped in so when it rains hard the entire backyard is under water and it's a good 12" deep. I finally decided to buy a pump as its becoming a hassle to deal with when water is standing for several days. I got the pump set up pretty quickly. Some of the instructions weren't exactly clear but the pictures helped. It did take a little while for the pump to prime even though I had primed the pump as the directions stated. I had to pour more water in when it still wasn't pumping. I have no prior experience with this kind of pump so I'm not sure what to expect in the first place. Once it started pumping it was great. I feel the value is very good based on my searches for a pump.

The pump and hoses were easy to assemble. After adding oil, fuel and priming the pump , it started on the first pull and ran without trouble all day. Pumped out a flooded basement faster than I expected, down to about 6 inches. It would have been nice to get it down to an inch, but overall it is a great working pump.

I drained an 80,000 gallon pool for the first use of my new Champion pump. It swirled amazingly flawless!!!

So we had some drain basins that needed cleaning out. We had a very old homelite mud sucker and needed to get water out of these basin before cleaning out while still having water run through them. We were having trouble getting the water to pump up 8 feet then out far enough to stay away from basins. Our boss ended ordering this pump. Well he usually orders something cheap and in the end never does what we need. Well it came in and at first glance it looked good but i was skeptical on its ability. Well we hooked it up and had to add 2 50 ft fire hose to the discharge to get the water to go out of our way and not back at us. We fired the pump up and bamg- go started sucking the water up and moving it out. It was enough to gill the fire hose and start digging a trench with the water. Wher the homelite wpuld take 20 mund this pump did the job in less than five minutes. We got all our basin cleN in no time. Bottom line this pump works and pumps water fast and alot of it

I purchase this house because of severe flooding in my backyard due to a jerk of a neighbor who decided to raise the grade of his lawn before I purchased my home... But that's a whole different story. I previously had a smaller pump that would sit on the lawn and it worked fine although it would take an extremely long time to pump the amount of water that I had sitting back there out. Let me start off by saying, this pump was extremely easy to put together out of the box. I've purchased other power equipment from other manufacturers that would take you hours to put together and leave you with bloody knuckles. So this was an extremely pleasant surprise. So far the things that I wish they would have packed with this pump would be the first bit of oil so that all I would have to do is at the gas and I'm ready to go. The other thing I wish they would have packed, would be an additional camlock male end so that I wouldn't have to run out and purchase a new one. At the very least there should be an option to either use the flat blue hose that comes with or to have the camlock male instead. How come back and re-rate this review once I've had a chance to use this pump, but so far I'm extremely happy.

Used to empty burn pit. Handled pretty well. Got down to last 4 inches and cavitated. I used a sock over the filter to reduce chance of picking up debris. Have used it 6 times with no issues. Have to use a hand pump to get the last few inches of water.

The river flooded the entire area and if it hadn't been for 2 of these CHAMPION pumps, we would have water in our house...most of neighbors on our side of the river were flooded out. We ran these pumps 24/7 for 4 days so far and they are working like a charm. Having these 2 pumps running has relieved much of the stress we were experiencing. If you are thinking of purchasing a gas pump, we highly recommend this model. Please ensure you pick up the oil when you purchase the pump so you don't have to make a trip back to the store.

When you need to work after a long rainy day time is money. with the champion water pump we where working within minutes. TRUE LIFE SAVER.

18 month review. I purchased this set up from Home Depot early spring 2017 to help with the crazy amount of rain fall we have been getting here in Northeast Texas the last 2 years. I purchased this particular unit because of the great experiences I have had with Champion in the past. This little guy dose not disappoint. I have used it to drain a segment of creek into a pond, used it as a sort of land sump (dug a deep hole for water to flow into and pump it over a hill) and transfer water from one pond into another. Over the last 13 months I have had no time for these kinds of projects at the farm and this guy sat in the garage. Broke it out yesterday and pulled the rope a couple of times and it didn't start, I thought great didn't store properly and crappy gas clogged the carb, but I hadn't flipped the on switch. 1/3 pull of the rope and this guy was ready move some water. Comes with some flat hose, but you will probably need more as I did. Dose require priming initially (super easy) but will self prime if suction is lost due to excessive air suction, but don't let it run dry for very long. Creates a whirlpool type effect and should be submersed at least 18" for optimal water moving. Very portable and worth its weight in gold for the work it dose.

I bought this because the low lying swampy area of our property will not drain quick enough during downpours and flood the backyard. This little beast drains it out quick and easy and will pump the area out in a few days.... easy to place, easy to start, and easy to break down when done.
