I'm posting this as a PSA — these are absolute garbage. The pictures say it all. I installed these casters on my office chair, and sat in the chair for *maybe* two hours (I work from home, and don't roll much at all, just shifting, really). Look at those marks on the floow! They aren't just scratches, they are indents in the floor itself! I actually gasped when I noticed them. I am livid. We called SlipStick and their genius idea was to "send another set." Like I would ever trust this product again! Returning and looking into thick rugs instead of this crap.

So far, so good, only been using these one month, easy to install, fits most standard chairs, no signs of marking my finished hard wood floor. A far better solution than those floor mats. Time will tell how long they last, more importantly, how well they protect. If it was 5 months from now and they hold up and perform as well, I'll give it 5 stars.

These were very easy to install for replacing our current office chair wheels. We are renting a home with new laminate floors and our original office chair wheels were taking the shine off the floor. After trying various rugs we decided to replace the wheels. We looked around and these casters were recommended for this type of floor. They roll smoothly and have worked great for the 5 months we've been using them. A great way to save a floor and much cheaper than buying floor protectors!

The rubber caster wheels are just what the doctor ordered, my chair is quieter and rolls around nice and smooth. I have a tile floor and I don't have to worry about adding to the scratches that the original plastic wheels made. Thanks, Home Depot!!

Product is fine, however when you purchase, be sure the stem in the center of your chair is not going to touch the floor with 2" instead of 3" wheels. Instead of protecting my hardwood floor, because I didn't consider this, my floor is now gouged because the wheels weren't tall enough to make the center post of the chair clear the floor by more than 1/4". As soon as my 300lb husband sat down and rolled, it put a huge scrape in the floor. Time to call in the hardwood refinishers!

Works great on tile floor

We just put in new flooring & had been using a four legged chair with felt pads on it at our home office desk, which was hard to move in & out & the pads kept falling off. Since finding, buying & installing the rubber casters on our office chair we are on the roll again, without worrying about damaging our new floors, it was the perfect answer!

Nice replacement for worn out casters

I have an office chair that's probably 35 years old, but I love it. The only problem was that it didn't move around on the floor very well any more. Exchanged the old wheels for these (very easy to do!) and now I have to be careful I don't launch myself across the room because the chair glides with so little effort. Money very well spent!

Not really much difference between the rubber vs. non-rubber except the price. Still an easily broken wheel with what looks like some rubber painted on it.

Outstanding, great product

Months before I had purchased the original Slipstick rubber caster wheels from Home Depot in the store and they were excellent. Now the ones I had just purchased online (as they were not available in the store) were not the originals (different colors on the box & they did not say original) even though they had the same product number. The wheels do not roll freely when sitting on the chair. You have to jolt the chair with your body to get it moving.

These casters are easy on floors but not so easy to source locally. I was relieved to find them on your web site and can’t thank you enough!

The rubber tread protects the flooring and allows the chair to roll smoothly. Good price.
