I have, through the years, tried many different brands of toasters. Each time I have been disappointed and settled for toast that always seems to be inconsistent, darker on one side barely toasted on the other. I had honestly given up on what seemed to be a simple concept for what the product is designed to do. This toaster has changed that. Time after time the toast comes out perfectly toasted. It's all about the little things and not having to throw away overdone or stand peering over the toaster to watch makes for a smoother morning. We are a breakfast family. Every morning we have toast, bagels, waffles, or English muffins as part of our breakfast. A seemingly small thing every morning can make a big difference. In addition, with such frequent use the toaster has to fit on the counter and look as nice as one could expect a toaster to look. This toaster delivers on all accounts. I received this toaster as a free sample for review.

This toaster works really well. Love the look of it and the cord.
