This is the second on-line order of live plants and we are very pleased these clematis vines. Plants arrived packaged very well without any damage and they are planted and thriving. Very healthy and again, we would order from Home Depot again. Thank you HD!!

I was expecting a plant which l-oozed like the average Home DEPOT garden department center with an inflated price of $33. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised to unwrap a huge, healthy plant with more root system in the pot than dirt. In spite of the brutal summer heati decided to put it in the ground and try to nurse it through to the cooler days of fall. The clematis never missed a beat, quickly attaching itself to the arbor and setting buds for the fall bloom cycle. I will be making more plant purchases with homedepot.com and recommend them to others.

This clematis arrived in excellent packaging, was amazingly well-grown and healthy. i have had it in container on my balcony now for about 3 weeks and it has almost doubled in height - really thriving. one of the healthiest plants i have ever received in the mail -- better than any nursery I've ordered from. Just looking forward to the autumn blooms. Fantastic, am really happy, and just ordered another!

Transplanted well into its permanent place. End of week 2 and has grown approximately 3 to 4 feet already. Had this Sweet Autumn before and I look forward to its sweet, vanilla-scented blossoms in about 2 months' time.

Fast shipping. The vine itself was around 12 to 18 inches tall, had green leaves was full with a healthy root system. I followed directions planting it and within an hour it perked up as if it had been there all along. I have had this vine before and it is beautiful, grows fast and smells like vanilla. I always cut mine back to 12 or 18 inches in early spring and it quickly grew to 15 feet or more with small white flowers in September and October. Shade the roots and give the top sun with good soil and watch it grow. Likes moist but not wet soil. Sweet Autumn does require something strong to support it such as a fence or other strong structure even with cutting it back every spring. l have never ordered plants from Home Depot online before but it worked out great. I will be ordering from them again.

the Clematis arrived quickly and it great condition .It is a large, healthy plant. It has been planted late in the season and should bloom next Spring.

Plant arrived well packaged, watered and healthy which was as I hoped they would being 2 gallon plants. I bought the 2 Gal size figuring they would be old enough to not arrive dead. I am very happy with my purchase and the plants are doing well. Thank you Home Depot for making my experience wonderful!

Sweet/Sugar Autunm Clematis Plant….It is a great plant and nice smell flower. But it attract alot of flies.

i have several different clematis plants so when i saw the sweet autumn plant i thought - why not. it is beautiful in the fall but be warned, it is an extremely fast growing plant and rather invasive! i got mine last spring and by fall it had grown up the side of my house. i couldn't even find the trellis that it was growing on. this spring i cut it back to about a foot high and its now july and just as big as last year! i love it though. i think if one had a pergola it could grow on that would be perfect.

I expected a larger plant. these plants were about 7 inches tall.

We ordered 2 Sweet Autumn Clematis plants after not being able to find them locally this late in the season. We really wanted to get these started this year but we were a bit concerned about the condition of plants arriving in a box. If you share this concern, do not worry! These plants arrived looking better than many plants we've bought from local nurseries. The plants were a good size and are thriving already. We won't hesitate to order plants from Home Depot again!

Plants arrived healthy and beautiful. They are much larger than expected and have been in the pots for three weeks and are thriving.

this plant was chosen to cover a new arbour we had purchased for the entrance to our flower garden area as it is a late summer/fall bloomer that would give us some color when most other vining plants have exhausted themselves. the plant was delivered in great condition considering how hot it still was in our area when it arrived. it came with easy to follow planting suggestions which we followed and is already growing and doing well. can't wait for it's beautifull blooms to appear!
