Terrible packing. Box had absolutly nothing to protect the product during transportation. Pilasters facing out easy to be damaged. Product was damaged during delivery. Unfortunately I was traveling outside of US for several months, return time had expired.

It looks amazing above my door. I ordered a size that would fit tight so there was no cutting. If i had cut then i would had to use the keystone to cover the seam. We preferred the no-keystone look

We installed along with acorn pediment. Good quality. Love the way it dresses up our home.

Great value. Easy to work with. My only complaint is that the plinth blocks had 1/8-1/4" gaps to be caulked around the pilasters and in the flutes. Could have been a much closer fit. Chose these and matching cross header as part of a complete replacement/upgrade of the front door. I cut the pilasters to length with a sliding miter and general blade. I used Loctite adhesive plus galvanized finish nails to affix the pilasters and add rigidity to the door frame. Not as sturdy as wood, but not bad. The overall look is very dressy and finished. Attached foto is prior to paint (obviously) but you get the idea.

The Pilasters are installed on both sides of a 5 foot wide French door to a large MBR of a 1912 Brick Mansion-type house. It now looks like a fabulous MBR should look.

These polyurethane pilasters are lightweight and easy to install. However, for planning purposes 1) 8" is the total width of the pilaster (not the fluted section) and 2) importantly, the 90" height/length with adjustable plinth block will leave a 1" gap between the plinth and the wall if extending beyond 90" -- it will require additional woodwork to accommodate/fill the gap. I returned these pilasters for that reason and purchased replacement pilasters longer than required and cut them to fit. Much easier than attempting to adjust the plinth block and making additional modifications.

They were nice. I just wish they were installed differently. My old ones were metal and there was a bracket that attached to my house. The new ones just screwed into my brick house. If you were too aggressive when attaching you could go right through the pilaster which is made of foam.

We are confused as to what ratings should this product be given....... This is a better quality 'foam' and if you put on your front door, it will be dented with a finger nail....is it suitable for high traffic area such as front door? We don't think so!!!!! Be ready for replacement in few days if not weeks as someone is going to 'touch' the Pilasters and they will get dented and look bad.....Returned this product.

Fypon architectural elements are a good product, weather well, take paint well, and are easy to work with. Only knock is they're made in China! I, for one would willingly pay more to keep jobs here

The fluted pilaster with the adjustable plinth block is beautiful. The picture doesn't show the plinth block so we had to go with the description and assumed the plinth block would be in the box and it was. The shorter fluted pilaster shows the plinth block on that picture so we were pretty sure our longer pilasters would be the same and they were. We put them up in about two hours on the outside of our house and they look beautiful. Quality is great.
