Purchased product maybe three years ago. My original mirowave worked but I changed appliances after 15 years. I'm very sad that the warrantee is only good for one year. I was warned about LG microwaves but didn't listen. I do not recommend this LG product and it's not hard to see why it's discontinued with Home Depot. It no longer heats up and the extended vent on bottom cracked only a few months after putting it up.

LG is HORRIBLE!!! I will never buy another product from this manufacturer again. This microwave is 5 years old and is now toast. We had an LG oven that was 5 years old and that is toast. We had to replace that in April because the power control board kept burning through relays. Replaced the PCB twice and the main power board twice. We finally had to cut our losses and purchase a Whirlpool. Hopefully we have better luck with this one. We have an LG dishwasher that was junk from the day we bought it. Within the first year the water pump assembly had to be replaced twice. Then it was replaced again at the end of the second year. Knock on wood, we haven't had any problems since but I'm sure that's the next one to go. We fought with LG through all of these problems and their customer service is horrible. The dishwasher was under warranty when we first started having issues and they didn't want to cover it. I fought up the chain through several managers and managers of managers and finally got them to cover the parts but still had to pay for labor, despite the pump assembly part itself only being 2 months old. In the case of LG appliances, you do NOT get what you pay for. I will NEVER buy another piece of junk from this company and I don't recommend you do either.

Absolutely horrific quality and design issues which LG refuses to address. ExtendaVent warps from range heat (made of plastic) and breaks apart and falls into food!! I have filed complaints with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and BBB about issues with their microwave ovens and gas ranges. I will never buy another LG product again.

Love the features, however the jury is still out on machine itself, the popcorn button seems to be set for too long and burns the popcorn also the fan is already making noise. and I need to have service come look at it. I've only had machine about a month. Fan works great though and the extend feature is definitely a bonus.

There is a hairline crack on the door, below the window, that is apparently cosmetic, but doesn't look real good. The extending exhaust hood, which was a main selling point, is barely, if at all, an improvement over others I have owned. Having said that, this microwave has performed well for almost two years of daily use, both reheating, and preparing meals. Very good controls, easy to use, and resets easily after power outages.

The door cracked right away. It looks terrible. I won't buy another LG product. My dishwasher is terrible too.

I have enjoyed my LG Over the Range Microwave for over two months now with no problems and ease of use. Glad I bought it.

I have several LG appliances in my home and I wouldn't have any other. When ever I need a new appliance, it will be a LG. I have several LG appliances in my home. I will not purchase any other brand. They are very dependable, the quality is great, the look is very kitchen like. I have the front load washer & dryer and they are great also. They save so much on the detergent and water. Like I said LG is my product.

The microwave is easy to use and has handy and helpful features. Bought it especially for the vent, but also happy with ease of use and smooth surface which is easy to clean.

Auto cook settings are accurate. Vent does a super job of removing smoke, vapors and steam. Quiet and seems efficient. Super replacement unit , large capacity! My first LG product and pleased.

Overall a good microwave. Sensor cooking rocks on popcorn and reasonaly quiet. Lots of wattage means less time waiting. Also earned good marks from consumer report on two sister products, so by derivation you can count on the quality. My biggest compliant is the overstated venting feature. I bought it for this reason over others. 400cfm should be powerful, but in reality it does not feel that way. Extended vent extends out just a little and does not do much for front burners. Again, overall a good microwave, but you could have paid less and get simimlar feature microwave.

We would recommend this product to anybody. Easy to install and use.

We upgraded the builder supplied appliances in home to all LG and every appliance has exceeded our expectations in quality and features.

I did many days of research both on the internet and within many stores in our metropolitian area. I wanted certain features standard as well as some others to upgrade my microwave cooking experience. To my delight I found all that I wanted and more! I am pleased with the extended ventilation panel that covers a lot of the front stove top cooking area. The door is solid ( others were not) and the larger turntable gives my larger meal dishes high quality cooking. The quick settings are great and easy to use. I was especially happy to have a timer and 30 sec button for coffee. Great quality Microwave at a very reasonable price.

This over the range microwave has been AWESOME! It cooks things and reheats items quickly! The fan is very powerful and quiet. The price is higher than some, but well worth the price.

It is everything Consumers report stated. It reheats perfectly, cooks great and has been easily installed. Have been using this product for only two months so far and have no complaints.

Installation went well, product works very nicely, LG as a company seems to care about it's consumer with good communications---which I think is very important in the purchase of a product. I do wish however that the design would be more sensitive to decor. By that I mean that the white unit that sits above my white glasstop stove looks well except for the "big black hole" that the black glass on the door displays. My previous model was a white glass on a white unit and fit visually well. Wish LG would change that. Another small change would be the location of the light switch that is located above the fan setting. When groping in the dark it is difficult to touch correctly. I do love the extended hood exhaust area, a valuable feature that works nicely!

This is a great over the range microwave oven. It is quiet and very easy to use. I love the EZ-ON to quickly select 30 seconds without having to push so many buttons. It looks great and cooks quickly. Love all of the features. Would recommend LGE products to everyone for the quality, price, and customer service!
