Can’t read the display, it’s too dim
I got this Electrolux microwave with my newly built home, and it was an upgrade.
The display has been too dim to read so a repairman came out and replaced the circuit board which only improved it slightly. Now 2 years later and you can’t read the display even in the dark. The microwave works, you just have to guess on how much time you entered. It’s less than 3 years old.

We bought this as a replacement for a built in...
We bought this as a replacement for a built in 2010 Electrolux model that had stopped heating. It installed easily in to the existing bracket and we were able to reuse the trim plate. So far it does what’s its supposed to. I don’t know if the bang for your buck is there. It’s a microwave and pricey.

Deeply disappointed in Electrolux appliances. Sold as a premium brand, they are seriously lacking in quality. For example this microwave... LED display started to malfunction in the first two years of use. I've had $100 microwaves last 20 years without LED screen malfunction. And as for design, I seriously wonder whether Electrolux has a single engineer on their design team. For example, should changing the lightbulb on a built-in microwave require one to completely uninstall and then remove the entire outer housing? No, that's just plain stupid but that's the case with this Electrolux microwave. It gives me no joy to write a bad review. I'd prefer to write a glowing one but I feel compelled to warn my fellow consumers to avoid this product. Premium price gets you a very low quality appliance.

Spec sheet says width 27" but rough in calls for 25". We have 28 and asked at home depot. Said they weren't sure either .24" is what it is .Way to expensive to try and put on a trim kit

The 27” is the dimension of the trim itself, for the microwave to fit into the cabinet the cutout would need to be at least 25 ¼ no more than 25 3/8”. The width of the microwave itself is 24”. The new microwave was in the exact replacement for the...
The new microwave was in the exact replacement for the old one so we knew what to expect. It works just fine. One would not be able to tell the difference between the two except for the model and serial numbers.

Great Price -Quick Delivery
Needed a replacement microwave & it had to be this one in order to match the built-in oven. HD's price was considerably cheaper than any one on-line,including Lowes & Best Buy. Only problem was using PayPay, I had to use a credit card. Delivery was quick & on time.

Already had the trim kit
This was a replacement for a 7 year old Electrolux microwave that just stopped working. The only reason that I purchased it is that Home Depot had the best price on it and I could use the trim kit that I have had since purchasing the original oven. The trim kit alone, which is basically a rectangular piece of plastic costs over $300, which is just slightly less than the oven. I would not recommend Electrolux appliances to anyone.

Does Whai I Expect
It's a microwave, not a new car, but it delivers heated food when I press the buttons. I ordered the 27" unit so it would match my oven, even though a smaller one would have been just as good. it was expensive when compared to the rest of the ovens I looked at, but form won over function. Some of the buttons were unresponsive initially, but they started working and, so far, all is well.

multiple calls to repairmen in 2 years
We wanted something good and quality that looked great, too.
I cannot believe how many times we have had to call for repairs for a microwave at this price! Our cheap countertop microwaves that are 15, 20 years old have outlasted this thing. In fact, when our expensive Electrolux is on the fritz it's a 20 year old counter top stored in the garage that we use in the meantime.
We do not abuse it. We are a family of four and it gets used daily but nothing unusual.
Ridiculous and extremely disappointing.

Works fine, trim kit is a piece of junk
I have no problems with the microwave itself. It is easy to use and works fine. However, the trim kit is poorly designed. In person it does not appear as it does on the website. Where the stainless meets the plastic part of the trim, there are noticeable 'dents'. This is only on the bottom. I requested a replacement explaining that it was defective. The replacement looks the same. They need to come up with a better design for the trim kit. It was also difficult to install.
