Very easy to install and a great quality product. Took less than 5 minutes to install. Just drill a 1/8 inch hole centered at the needed height all the way through from the interior part of the door to the exterior. Then you need a 1 1/8 inch hole saw with a pilot bit and drill half way through the door from the interior out. Then finish the other half from the door exterior in. I would recommend a Lenox 1 1/8" hole saw as it is reasonably priced and comes with the pilot bit. The 180 degree view is terrific and this is certainly an item needed for added security and safety.

Got this to install in newly installed impact front door....looks great...and great looks! This is much better than the small peepholes..this is almost like looking through a window...AND you cannot see in from the outside!

Good item, sturdy and easy to put together. Problem with needing to drill a 1 1/8th inch bit. I have a zillion bits, but not that one. Neither did my regular hardware stores. Used a 1 inch bit and wallowed the hole out to fit.

When I received the brass viewer, I examined it when it was still in its packaging and observed that it the view wasn't good but assumed my security technician who was to install it would find it to be okay. At the installation, it became apparent the viewer's lens wasn't working. Now I have to order another and hope it will work, else I now have a hole in my front door without a fitting.

The 180 degree view is SO much better than a standard door viewer!

Regret buying. Can see completely through the peep hole into my apartment. Does provide a wide range of sight, but rest assured whoever is on the other side of your door will know that you’re looking at them.

Eazy installation, looks good and works great

The door viewer (peep hole) gets a 2 star rating, with 1 being low and 5 being high. The brass showing on the inside of the door arrived all scratched and marked up. It either wasn't polished or was placed on a crude surface where it got ruined. The part that shows on the outside looks fine, and the door viewer fits the hole in the door.

I purchased the door viewer for the side door in my garage that faces my front porch. Even though it is probably 20 to 25 feet distance, I have a perfect view of who is at my front door. I also have a motion light on the porch so if a stranger rings my door bell at 11:30 at night ( which is what happened to me), I have a perfect view of the entire porch from my attached garage. Since I live alone, I feel so much more safe. A friend put it in for me and it only took him about 15 minutes. I am so thankful to have gotten this item.

Wide view and bright, clear images. This door viewer is much larger than any others I have seen and the image is brighter and clearer than any others, too. An excellent product. You install it by drilling a 1 1/8 inch hole.

Item was as described and was very easy to install. Would recommend cloth on both ends while screwing together to keep the glass clean and clear.

A very attractive addition to an entry door and not difficult to install. Provides the widest outside view of any other viewer that I've seen.
