i can't really review the product. the description omits the most important issue: what size eye does this handle fit? whoever puts together these web pages needs to have a better understanding of the products. i can't buy the product if i don't know if it will fit.

Very good

Great handle for a hammer, even better for a hatchet.

The replacement handle worked and fit perfectly. It seemed that it would be a bit small inside the hammer head but after the wedge and rings we're secured everything closed up tightly. The head doesn't feel loose at all and hasn't moved while pulling nails. I've never liked replacement handles because they never seem to fit right or be completely secure but after a week of framing I couldn't be happier. I definitely recommend this handle!

I've owned this Stiletto hammer a long time. This is my second handle replacement for my hammer that I use daily at work. Typically the wood dries out from exposure and starts to crack loosening the head. I used an all steel hammer in the past and started feeling pain in my arms as many people will point out to you. I personally would rather have a traditional wooden handle than possibly receive permanent physical issues in my arms from a steel or synthetic handle. The one thing I always worry about in the handle I will receive is. Will the wood used to make it be of a straight grain to maximize it's longevity? So far so good with both replacement handles I did receive from Stiletto, they were both as straight grained as can be.

I bought this to replace the broken handle on a shingle hammer. It fit the hammer head well. I don't know how sturdy it is yet. I plan to use it this weekend.

What can I say? It is high quality & exactly what I needed to replace a 35 year old handle that finally cracked.
