Bought this for my kid's small home. It does the job well and perfect for their cozy home!

Not sure plastic on/off button broke. I have only had this product since 2016.

bought this dishwasher from home depot. the power button broke and it wouldnt turn on anymore. its only a few years old. and i took it apart to repair it and all the wires are burnt inside. lucky it didnt burn my house down!

Bought this dishwasher in October 2015, and already in August 2016 it needs to be repaired. It's still covered under warranty, thank goodness, so we had the repair guy in this morning to look at it. I was told the main wash motor needs to be replaced, and the repair guy could not give me any estimate for how long it would take him to get the part. I called Danby myself, and was told the part was in stock so it should be a quick turn around. I was also told that if the part was not in stock, I would have received a whole new unit. Dishwasher worked fine up until now, but very disappointed in needs repairs already. Hopefully the repair happens quickly, and the new motor lasts longer than the original one.

The first dishwasher didn't work, but the folks at the Mattoon store were very helpful in getting it returned and a new one purchased. I am pleased with the product in general (cleans dishes well, etc.) but I'm not so pleased with the racks and silver basket. I will get used to it!

so far so good ive not had this unit long enough to judge long term quality.

This was easy to install, and it looks great with my black microwave and stainless ovens. Perfect choice for a small space!

There aren't many dishwashers available in this small size, but this one is a winner. Very quiet, stainless steel inside (vice plastic), nice front panel features, etc. And a great price on top of it all. The dishwasher has only been in use for a couple of weeks, but we're very happy with it. So far, so good.

Unsure about performance yet. Purchased item over 30 days ago. First dishwasher came damaged and had to be returned. Second dishwasher arrives undamaged, however, the water valve is defective and needs replaced so we have to wait another 7-10 days. As of today, would not recommend product.

We bought this dishwasher,but in white.Dishwasher did not work upon arrival.reordered thinking this was a fluke .next dishwasher arrived ,it did not work! When we returned it to Home Depot ,one of the workers there said only 1 in 99 of those worked .Ordered a different brand of dishwasher (Frigidaire) Worked immediately upon installation.My experience steer clear of Danby.

This dishwasher replaced an existing unit. Easily fit in the cabinet and hookup was no problem. This dishwasher has more features than our previous model and dishes come out clean and dryer. Very happy with is purchase.

this is a very nice dishwasher even though it is only 18 inches wide. If you need a small dishwasher, this is a good buy.

It was so easy to install, my 17 yr old niece did it for me. We love it and it replaced a very old Danby that I had before. I really like the stainless steel inside and out.

The door of the dishwasher did have a problem. When reported to Dandy they were helpful and mailed a part to me . The problem I have is with the repair process. It was left to me to call a repairman which is located 40-50 miles away. I have not done this yet since the dishwasher can be used and the holidays have kept me from scheduling the repair. The price was right and the only reservation I have is the way the warranty work is done. I would recommend this product

We could not fit a regular size dishwasher in our remodel so I found this small one on home depot site. Very pleased with it and it looks great with other stainless appliance we have. Cleans fantastic much better than other normal size ones I have had in the past. Only con is cycle is 2 hours, but other than that we love it

Cleans just as good as a full size. Takes up less space. Very well made. I open the door for air drying. Cycles take longer than I planned but you could run before bedtime and forget about it. Really quiet which was a must for me in my living room/kitchen space. Would recommend to anyone who needs smaller than normal size dishwasher.

It fits perfectly in our small kitchen. We don't use it very much. But the only complaint I have is that it does not dry your dishes. So you have to hand dry them--they get very wet after each wash.

Works great. This is a compact unit that gets used daily and has had no issues since purchased about 1 year ago.

It is perfect for my husband and I. I love the size it holds enough dishes for 3 or 4 days before needing to run it. Cleans all the items perfectly.

Very quiet ..easy hook up..capacity is average for an 18 inch dishwasher..all in all good buy.

This product fits width wise is a standard 18” cabinet opening. The problem we ran into is with the height. The dishwasher falls short of a standard countertop bottom height by almost 2”. Since the unit must me secured to the countertop by two tabs the only option is to raise the dishwasher up with shims or a wood platform. What does not make any sense is there is no mention of this issue and only two of the 4 legs have leveling feet. I would think the extra 2” would have been important to increase the available space inside to store dishes. Operationally I have no complaints after three weeks.

The dishwasher was pretty simple to install. Looks very nice and cleans well.

Easy to install, and I've put in 100's of dishwashers all brands. Is functioning as advertised so far. Would prefer a positive locking door handle.

I bought it for a rental apartment so I just tried it to see if it worked so I don't know yet how well is going to work.

Much less expensive than at other stores. Very pleased with purchase.

Dishwasher itself was good. Packaging was terrible dishwasher tub had water in it- all paperwork was wet and unreadable. Contacted Danby BUT they never got back to me. I will never buy another Danby.

dishwasher was damaged in transit. Haven't reordered. Based upon previous reviews and features of the dishwasher, I will probably reorder but will wait as I will also need a refrigerator and possibly a new washer and dryer so I want to do all items at one time.
