I love the sound an impact wrench makes when it's getting to work. This impact wrench is no exception and powers through everything I've thrown at it (although I haven't really tackled anything that'd require this much power). The setting on the base lets you easily choose a power setting and see what you're set at. The ambidextrous belt clip is quite handy too.

Great tool! Easy to handle and very powerful for its size.

Let me start out by saying what I don’t like. Why a tool is sold WITHOUT its battery is beyond me. I don’t understand why the consumer should have to buy his own battery for the product in addition to the product itself. Maybe this is due to having a modular battery pack that can be used in multiple tools, but who cares if you have a ton of battery packs lying around? That’s just more time for you to work with the tool and recharge another pack. Anyway, besides that gripe, the impact drill works great. It easily drives and has plenty of power which is easy to control with its 3 speed settings. I experimenting driving some screws through old thick pine wood and it didn’t bog down or smell like it was being overworked. The tool is comfortable in the hand and not too heavy. The size is impressively small for the amount of power this tool can put out and it allows you to use it in more confined spaces. The impact wrench feels well built and robust and I expect it to last for some time.

I do a lot of automotive repair & maintenance. I'm constantly pulling off wheels and was tired of doing it by hand. This fits the bill perfectly and I'm sure it'll come in handy for other repairs too. I doubt it will get fasteners that are very tightly torqued or rusted, but I've got a breaker bar for those.

I think makita is the best among all others and they last forever

very nice gun ,just did not enough power for what I wanted. thanks Home Depot for the fast refund. Will be back to buy more tools for sure. Now looking for a Mikita XWT08Z impact.

The Markita 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 3-Speed 1/2 in. Impact Wrench (Tool Only) is an extremely powerful battery operated hand tool. (Note that my review is based on this tool paired with a 18V 4Ah battery) Whether you are removing tires from a vehicle or driving long lags into wood, this tool performs. I have yet to find a project that this tool could not handle. Any task I had previously worked on with a pneumatic impact driver has been accomplished without issue by the Makita. I would recommend this product.

I love this tool, I know is not a snap on impact wrench but I always want to have one but because snap on is so expensive I can't afford one, so after I did my research I found this amazing tool and I love it, I like to work on my car went I can and always need one of this and already have a makita products so get one of this to do the job I did think twice, does the job without any problems and it has 3 speed in case you don't need to much torque like others wrench don't (snap on) I definitely recommend it to get one, is worth the money.
