I love this Impact Wrench! I have not stopped using it! How did I change a tire or work on my lawnmower without this tool? It has plenty of power and the quick toggle switch trigger allows me to quickly transition from forward to reverse without having to take my hands off the gun! Cons: I wish I bought this useful tool when I first got my license at 16!

Well done with everything from the web site, description, interval for delivery and product performance. Made my challenge of hanging the sign with Lag bolts quick and painless. This versatile tool is a "must" in the cordless tool bag. Can't imagine doing this with a regular wrench.

I might of had my hopes up a little high when I thought this impact would take lug nuts off of my truck. It would get one maybe two, but that was it. But besides that it has loosened everything else I have put it on. I dropped my transmission the other day and it was nice not to have to rachet att those books out. And a few weeks earlier I was building a roof over a mobile home and drove 4 1/2" long 3/8" lag bolts through 2x6's into 4x4's with little effort. I had about 32 of them to drive in and I had to be careful not to counter sink them because it was bending the washers. Its not a tool that I break out very often, but it is nice to have when I need it.

I have the detent-pin version, been using it for several years, at home, to rotate my own tires. Sure beats the old-fashion 4-way spinner wrench!! Cuts time in half, or better. Detent pin is on the stiff side. Put a socket on with the hole aligned to pin, it is NOT coming off! Must use pocket screwdriver to release. Freshly, fully charged battery will do 20 lugnuts off & on, on a full-size pick./up PLUS 20 more on a mid-size sedan.

Bought for tire changes on my 17 Jeep GC. Breaks the lugs loose no problem, works with my old Nicd and Nano packs. So much nicer than all that compressor/hose/noise business.

It's an 18vilt 300 lb-ft tool. More power would be nice but it's portable enough and all of my other tools are also 18volt. So it makes the batteries interchangeable. That's the main reason that I purchased the 18volt tool.

I did not like then because they are different 18 volt nicad batterys. I dont have the box and with i could return them for refund to my card . Thanks Daniel Presnell

Works like my the other DeWalt Impact Wrench. These are great for big impact jobs including breaking down engine and car parts along with changing tires. The new one is for my truck tool box in case of a tire change. The only issue will be the battery pack for 18 volt equipment seems to be getting more expensive and probably may be going away in the future which will drive the cost up of replacing the batteries. Thank goodness they last a long time!

No cords, no hoses-complete independence regardless of location! This tool has ample power to remove lug nuts without breaking a sweat! I can now work ANYWHERE without worring about air or electric!

TOOL is very good meet my expectation

No my impact has greatly disappointed me. It is no where equivalent to the ones I have used in the past and have used several identical lately. It has no torque to even break a nut loose. The hog ring is not installed correctly and it is very difficult to remove or install a socket on to it.

I wanted a battery impact wrench for doing misc stuff and changing tires. I have Dewalt 18V XRP tools already so wanted to use the same batteries. Lots of research on this, the 20V and other brands. I almost purchased a different brand, but cost was close to $400 so hard for me to justify it. I used this yesterday, changed 4 tires, 24 lug nuts total, torqued to mfr specs and it worked great! So far it has been perfect! And at the price made it worth it!

This impact wrench boasts 300 ft lbs, but would not remove lug nuts torqued to 80-100 foot pounds. I don't see how they can claim 300. I tried a freshly charged battery too. Since I bought it specifically for lug nuts, I returned it. Thanks Home Depot for taking it back.

I already have a DeWalt drill 18v and was wanting an impact to for home projects and Auto as well. Its a great addition tool to my tool box, and the price was great for such a quality impact.

This impact would not loosen wheel nuts of 90 ft/lbs. As it is rated for 300 ft/lbs I figured it was defective - so I had it replaced with another new one - guess what - the replacement would also not do it. I used my torque wrench to see what it could loosen - 80ft/lbs ! I actually bought it to take off my truck wheel nuts at 140, figuring the 300ft/lb rating would be more than adequate - what a disappointment. Go buy a Milwaukee everyone they work as specified- there is no excuse for this dewalt Impact - junk product.

I really enjoy using dewalt tools, ever since the first 4 1/2 in angle grinder i bought almost 20 years ago. When the cheaper brands wimped out the ol dewalt grinder is still grinding strong. I recently purchased the 18v combo kit. I added the cordless impact to the collection and am very glad i did. It makes changing tires a cinch with out pulling out the air tools. I am very impressed yet again with the quality of dewalt tools and the torque especially of a battery impact tool much less only 18v. Another dewalt great I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who needs to change tires quickly and effortlessly.

Received product when promised and am very happy with it's performance. I don't know why the stores carry the pin style anvil. They should carry the Hog Ring Anvil I believe that they would gain more traction in sales of this Impact to DIYers, Mechanics and Mechanical contractors if they did. I am happy with it's performance and would recommend this to a friend. Thank you.
